Bonjour. I have a question for you all, if you'll indulge me.
How many of you here are immortal? Whether it be by natural means or otherwise. How do you feel about your immortality?
You don't need to tell me how or why you are, I'm simply curious. I myself have lived for 500 years, so I'm looking for kindred spirits, one might say.
Of course if you're not immortal and you know someone who is, I'd be glad to hear that as well. This platform was made to share opinions, correct? I'd enjoy having everyone's different perspectives.
All the best,
Comte de Saint-Germain
[ It's... It's not a letter but he's from the 19th century so. There you go. ]

( she'd enjoy going toe-for-toe about historical figures though. how many could she say she's met? or impersonated )
There's more than one species I could tell you about. ( she'll avoid the largest myth of them and instead go for another ) This one-- isn't really immortal but they're able to sustain themselves uniquely, I suppose like vampires.
( just not the same method. nor a method anyone should wish for )
They upgraded themselves. Removing the humanity and replacing it with cybernetics.

[ Are we talking cyborgs? He's not the best with SciFi. ]
And vampires, then. Well, I can tell you that the kind we have in my world aren't weak to sunlight or crosses or anything like that. In fact, several historical figures of old wound up with new lives after their death thanks to vampirism.

( venice, at all?
but she'll answer his question )
They're human on the inside. Or they were. Their upgrades encased their body with metal. It's hard to kill them when conventional weapons do little. And they have very little qualms about killing anyone else.

[ Don't blame him for Twilight, that's after his time... ]
How chilling. And you encountered these while working as an archaeologist, did you?
