hey everyone
i've got a question to ask that i'm a little shy about asking off anon
so, let's just say that you've had bad experiences with things that are supernatural back home.
like abilities, phenomena, things like that?
but you're here now.
magic is abundant here. a lot of people have powers and crap like that.
so what i'm wondering is that...
for those of you who have abilities: how would you feel if someone close to you, like a friend? had problems with your powers? how would you ease them into that sort of thing?
or if someone told you outright that they had problems with the supernatural, how would you help them?
unrelated to that, i do have another question.
i think i'm the only one explicitly from my world? but i think there are some people that are from a city or country similar to it, and i think it's really interesting that there's actually people like that.
but for someone who's kind of anti-social, it makes it hard to make friends wwww
is there anybody else here that's in that boat? i'm kind of curious.
anyway, tyvm in advance!! _ăž__(âŸâĄâ )>

no subject
i'm not saying they're a bad person in this hypothetical
but like, let's just say they were burnt really bad in the past, multiple times, by someone w/ abilities and stuff like that
so it makes it difficult for them to trust someone who might have them
esp if it's like a dangerous in nature ability (i.e. violent, etc, you catch my drift)
like... if you told them and they said that
would they not be your friend anymore?

odds are if you're someone with a violent or dangerous ability, you're already used to not having many friends

tbh i'm of the personal opinion that it would take some time getting to know the person first
and then they decide based on that
but idk, rly
and maybe
although if their ability is like that and they're a nice person
not having many friends
is probably really sad honestly...

well, i wouldn't say it's fair at all to put someone at risk if their ability was violent
but
it would depend on it, ig??
bc "super strength" is 'an ability that can be used for violence'
but
it's not necessarily a bad thing, or something that could put that person at risk all the time
i think if they wre upfront about their abilities to their friend it'd be better for them to make that decision
can't say one or another if they're really good, tho

not sure which side of the equation you're asking about, but it ain't easy for either party i'm sure
no subject
although for what I just said, mostly for the person who has powers
it's just a tough situation I think
no subject
but if you're the type who's willing to hang around long enough to get to know a person, and maybe forgive them for not speaking up right away
i bet it'd mean a lot, no matter what the choice was in the end

friendship, that is, in general
at least in my opinion.
i didn't have any real friends for the longest time
it's kind of pathetic wwww
i think knowing people is p. important in order to understand them
i don't think you can call yourself a friend if you don't
besides, ppl make mistakes, that's what being human's all about
(or ig people? creatures? non-humans???? terms are hard)
you get kicked down but you just get back up again
arguments happen after all and you're never gonna 100% agree with one person or another, i think
but i'm rambling at this point probably haha
sorry
