hey everyone

i've got a question to ask that i'm a little shy about asking off anon
so, let's just say that you've had bad experiences with things that are supernatural back home.

like abilities, phenomena, things like that?

but you're here now.
magic is abundant here. a lot of people have powers and crap like that.

so what i'm wondering is that...

for those of you who have abilities: how would you feel if someone close to you, like a friend? had problems with your powers? how would you ease them into that sort of thing?
or if someone told you outright that they had problems with the supernatural, how would you help them?

unrelated to that, i do have another question.
i think i'm the only one explicitly from my world? but i think there are some people that are from a city or country similar to it, and i think it's really interesting that there's actually people like that.
but for someone who's kind of anti-social, it makes it hard to make friends wwww
is there anybody else here that's in that boat? i'm kind of curious.

Well, it didn't exactly make my life easier. Simpler, maybe. Not easier.

And there's nothing about the decision I made that someone else couldn't make. Getting magic powers from it might be unlikely, though.

and maybe so. not that i can say much, since i'm powerless.

I think it was worth it, though. Even without the powers. Before... I was kind of waiting for the real part of my life to arrive.

Now I know that I have to be the one who makes it happen.

being in control of your life is... important

It doesn't stop bad things from happening. But it's good to control what you do, as a result.

i wouldn't have expected it to be. i like being in control of what i do, tbh
but i've had a lot of it ripped away from me bc of this place

That's true.

When something like that happens - my Moonblessing is still something that happens to me. I still choose where to go, who to be around.

Maybe that's simplifying it too much, but that's still what I feel.

sometimes it's... hard, re: moonblessings. at least, to me it is. triple moons just makes it worse.

like, 'i have a boyfriend but he isn't here'
kind of problem
