But I'll give you a mass answer to the rest: been here only a few months, so I can't say more than what I know.

But it does seem we're only involved when we're "needed" for something.
Haven't seen any efforts to get us involved in say, local politics.
No calls for canvassing or local elections or any information or encouragement to have leaders among our specific group.

You'd think we'd at least have a group of representatives organized by ourselves, if not encouraged to exist by them.
