Hello Everyone!

Some of you know me but for those who don't it's a pleasure to meet you! I'm Rise Kujikawa.

In light of recent events and everything that went down on Iris, I have a request to make. If things like that are going to keep happening, I can't rely on everyone else to protect me. I want to learn how to defend myself. I don't know what kind of fighting I'd even be good at or what would work for me, so I'm willing to try whatever you want to teach me!

For reference, I'm a very petite girl. I have dancing experience but no real strength.

I'm willing to pay for lessons in chroma! Or helping out at your business if you have one. Reply here or directly message me!

Yeah, sorta. I can summon something called a persona, and she can use magic... but nothing that really attacks things or can protect me.

I think even with that, it should be possible for you to cast magic directly. In theory.

Though I wonder if it might be easier to just give you a pactio...

Uh, let me start from the beginning.

You can form a contract with me and I can give you a magical item you can use independent of your own magical strength.

That only makes very slightly more sense.

I don't remember all the inner workings, it just takes magical energy to work!

...on the other hand, I've seen enough of them that I could probably figure them out.

Hmm... I'll keep that in mind as a back-up option, in case I can't make any of these other styles of fighting work.

I wish I knew how your body cast regular magic, because from my world, anyone can learn magic, but it's tough and sometimes your body can interfere with it.

Well in my world some people also have 'chi' and that can get in the way of their ability to cast magic.

I even know one person who negates magic entirely.

That sounds kinda complicated...

We have spells that can negate magic damage, on some personas, but that's not the same

Yeah it is. Studying magic back at home is like a full time curriculum despite only needing a few tools and awareness to cast a spell.

You seemed like you knew how magic worked so I thought I could teach you a few offensive spells or get an artifact...

I think our different versions of magic are really different, unfortunately.
