Please forgive my curiosity, but I have heard about 'the season' and 'Halloween' a few times over the network, and since neither the time seems relevant to where I come from, nor the name familiar - would anyone care to explain what these two are about?

It's a festival in my homeland that allows families to give their respect to the dead. There are lots of singing, praying and merrymaking often in the form of elaborate costumes.

The first days of Juju are dedicated to mourning the dead, while the rest is all about celebration and food. All of Port Nostrand is decorated in orange and black ribbons, the signature colors of Juju.
