I don't think it's weird at all! Some people really don't have a type or aren't looking for anything specific. You'll know what you like when it happens, I imagine and even then it could be a very broad something that you don't realize right away.

But I've never even really considered looking for someone at all! At least, not until I ended up here. This place makes it hard not to think about that sort of thing.

It's pretty normal, really. Especially if dating's not something that's been on your mind at all.

Even if you had an ideal type you'd already decided on, you might end up changing your mind later on too.

I suppose it was kind of the same for me back home. I had a vague idea about an ideal type but dating wasn't really a thing I saw myself doing.

But now I'm dating someone here who doesn't really match that ideal, yet we get along fine. So I guess it's not so bad to have an open mind about it. You never know who you might meet and all that.

Well, I'd say I've gotten more open-minded about it, at least. I didn't think about it back home, but I've already considered it here.

Well, I suppose meeting the right person and dealing with a tough time together's probably where it started. It's a cliche but it seems like it's true that something like that can make you see someone in a different light and bring you closer together.

Although, I guess it's ended up being a bit more complicated for me than I would've expected. Maybe I'm not such a good example in that case.

Cliches wouldn't be cliche if they weren't based on common occurrences. So you're probably spot on with that theory!

What makes it so complicated? Aren't all relationships complicated in their own ways?

I never really thought about it either. Maybe it just varies from person to person, if they know what kind of 'type' they have?
