This is The Knight.

I wish to talk about families.

What is your family like? Do you have siblings? I have many siblings. More siblings than there are moonblessed. One of them is here with me. They are also a knight. They were one long before I was, and they are very good at it.

I have a child. They were not born by mating, as humans do, but by a dance with myself and my friend Grimm. It was part of an important ritual.

My Father is a King. My Mother is a Tree. Also a Queen.

That is all of my family. Please tell me about yours.

Even if I’m just a stupid grunt, I can still help her in any way that I can! And I think she’s grateful to have someone like me who is willing to do anything for her...even if she doesn’t always show it.

Even though we’re twins, I was born first, so I’m the big sister, and it’s my responsibility to take care of her.

Because I have skills that are useful to her, and can help her, so my shortcomings don’t matter as long as I can do this one thing for her and for myself.

All i’m good for is fighting.

I fight because it’s the only thing I can do.

And because my sister needs me to do it.
