This is The Knight.

I wish to talk about families.

What is your family like? Do you have siblings? I have many siblings. More siblings than there are moonblessed. One of them is here with me. They are also a knight. They were one long before I was, and they are very good at it.

I have a child. They were not born by mating, as humans do, but by a dance with myself and my friend Grimm. It was part of an important ritual.

My Father is a King. My Mother is a Tree. Also a Queen.

That is all of my family. Please tell me about yours.

ive got a mom and a dad.

and then i have a teddie. he's a bear (...kind of. its hard to complain). but also looks human when in our world. its kinda complicated but short answer he's like my lil bro and my parents are ok w him livin with us so he's adopted now 2.

oh but theyre not here. its just me and my friends atm. but they're like family anyway so its ok.

like i said, its kinda complicated. hes known as a shadow, so that's why hes not human. but he somehow grew himself a human body. it was just an empty mascot suit in the shape of a bear before.

its weird and even i don't know all the mechanics of it. teddie is just teddie.

yeah, honestly im pretty sure they dont believe the story i told them about teddie since they don't know all the shadow world stuff that me and my friends dealt with but they're rolling with it anyway. im really grateful!

that hes probably more than just sum foreign kid i found and decided to bring home for no reason. i made up a sob story that he couldn't actually go back to his original home because he had no more money and no family to pick him up so i just wanted to help him out.

he's just kinda never left and somehow my parents have never said anything so thats why im pretty sure they don't believe the story.

its been a year and a half so im not sure what would make them wanna ask now.

That is reasonable. A year is quite some time for humans.

yeah, i mean, i'll try and i figure something out if that other comes to pass but for now im just gonna hope. the truth about it all would just make them think im crazy.
