[ What does one do after the Cordis cycle, after a tiring few days? Stay in bed and... post because she has nothing better to do. She will be judging everyone. ]
Out of curiosity, how many of you are looking for moonlacing partners? I mean, you could probably just ask a friend or something, but for the more available, what do you have to offer that makes you stand out from the others who are looking for partners?
Show a picture of yourself and what you're looking for. I'll provide a sample.

A doctor, huh? Do you have any particular specialties?

( It seems like a safe question if he plans on finding a church; that's quite a bit of exposure on its own, but manners go a long way. )
And I suppose you could say I have a few. I can find my way around most specialized areas of the body, but I primarily work in trauma surgery as a medic in the field, focusing on restorative work and prosthetics/cybernetics.
I utilize a special technology to aid in recovery and healing.
( Perhaps it's presumptuous, assuming he won't quite follow if she went into further detail, but most people couldn't no matter when or where they came from. She tries to keep it simple. )

I admit I'm not much of an engineer myself, but I was a combat medic for many years.

I can always appreciate a faith that centers around positivity and harmony in the world.
And I would honestly not consider myself an engineer— I tinker, just a bit, but I can't create something like that in its entirety. I can tweak, repair, mimic, and install, but there are far greater minds out there to do the heavy lifting before it's in my hands. π
A fellow combat medic! It's an honor, Adrasteius.
I do hope you've found a more peaceful life since.

I'm afraid I don't hail from a peaceful land. But it's a nice dream.

I was thinking it may be prudent to open a little clinic of my own here, just in case anyone is wary of the Prismals and their healthcare.
It would be a fine venue.
I don't suppose many of us do if we're involved in combat and war, but as you spoke in the past tense, I suppose I had hoped you had some distance from it all.

[especially because longevity is otherwise not as choice as one might expect]
Oh, sorry. I'm no longer officially enrolled in the military, that's all.
[he might even be a traitor?? oh well]

And you'd be more than welcome to come by if I do indeed follow through on this. ♥
I see that wasn't a mistyped number! Goodness. I thought you were somehow my age. You've exceeded me a fair bit.
( It's a tease on its own, and one that says she won't pry. He looks to be some sort of... elf? As far as she knows them from the media. They were supposedly said to live long lives.
This place is quite amazing, isn't it? )
That's all right; I was never in the military myself. An organization I had been in before was para-military but for peacekeeping purposes, then for the last six years I've simply gone wherever I've been needed with other medical volunteers. To warzones and remote villages in need of vaccinations and aid, so on.
( It's ok he's in good company, she's something of a high profile watchlist member herself, post-Overwatch. The UN's just lenient with her because she does so much good, they can't really slap her on the wrist and tell her no without it seeming suspicious. )

Our aging slows down considerably after we reach our twentieth year. I've looked exactly as I am now for most of my life.
[tattoos aside ...]
You must be used to a hectic life, doctor.

I'm sure it wouldn't be the first time you've heard anyone say they're jealous, so I will refrain this once. ;)
I suppose I am, but it makes places like these deceivingly simple to settle into.
I'm still not entirely sure what to think of it, but there seems to be no malice in anyone here.
The scientists' excitement was quite cute, actually.
How have you been doing in that?

[more time to make mistakes; more time to dwell on them.
but more time to do good, too. so there is that.]
I don't have much faith in government of any kind, but it's true that I haven't seen anything I'd call overtly sinister. And they do seem to sincerely need help.

The "young for a very long time" look, however, would be wildly popular for most.
( She gets it; she's had a lot of fawning over the result of her nanites assisting in that, but it's really only going to delay her 10, maybe 20 years. It's hard to say yet. But if she had the chance to live longer just to do more good, she may take it. )
They strike me as very excited scientists, which they are, of course.
A little bit awkward, a lot of enthusiasm, and a lot of babbling. π
It's quite cute until they have sharp implements.

Right. Not so fond of that. It's a frustrating situation, but I'm trying to keep a charitable mind.

Still, if you ever find the time or would like to have tea or coffee, I'd be more than happy to meet you in person and continue the conversation, Adrasteius.
It's been a pleasure.
( And you know, holds hands and whatever, I guess. N-not like she wants to b-baka, etc. (Yes she does there's no tsun about it.) )
