Tactics and being able to make snap decisions under pressure, coordinating with teammates, and searching for solutions alone and collaboratively? You barely have to be creative at all, to find ways to apply skills like that to the rest of your life.

Are you sure you're not interested in trying for the tournament? I could use someone with your mindset - the experience, the skills, that comes secondary. They can always be taught, but definitely not the way you think.

(I think that's the right terminology! I don't know too much outside of English and Japanese, other than history. The only Chinese nationals I know back home are a very free spirited and volatile martial artist, and Lu Bu, who doesn't... actually speak.)
