[ What does one do after the Cordis cycle, after a tiring few days? Stay in bed and... post because she has nothing better to do. She will be judging everyone. ]

Out of curiosity, how many of you are looking for moonlacing partners? I mean, you could probably just ask a friend or something, but for the more available, what do you have to offer that makes you stand out from the others who are looking for partners?

Show a picture of yourself and what you're looking for. I'll provide a sample.

NAME Reyvenne
AGE 53
LOOKING FOR I need a lot of money. A LOT. I'm a bandit but I don't want to live a life of crime here so I'm going to need to moonlace with at least 30 people a month.
OFFERING What. You don't think I'm hot?

Somehow, this feels like false advertising. They will see you for what you truly are in time.

[ Namely, a pervert. ]

It is hardly a lie.

And judging by other ads, you seem to have your own problems.

[Not even trying to be mean yet]

My ad was not written by me! If I wanted more vassals, I could recruit them on my own without that mongrel's assistance.

[ He's still going to kill Vane later for that. ]

Are you sure? Calling someone a mongrel is hardly encouraging.

[personal profile] gluhen 2019-04-15 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
He's not a vassal of mine. Calling him a mongrel is only fitting. Anyone under my guidance would know better than to publicly place such tasteless things about.

I don't know, it seems like you provoked him. Especially if you're calling him things like mongrel.

He is surprisingly easy to provoke.

[ Pot calling the kettle black or something... ]

That is beside the point. Though I'm not surprised to see you take his side. You have your similarities to one another.

I find that hard to believe.

And I shall take that as a compliment. He's a fine man.

But are you really a couple?

[ He nearly chokes on his own tongue at that. ]

We are nothing of that sort!

[ Actually, he has no idea what they are to one another. Maybe he'll settle for the safer route- ]

We come from the same world, and he is currently occupying my former position in his kingdom. That's all you need to know.

[Oooh, so there are some mixed signals going on here? Well it's not the first time Gawain has seen such a thing.]

If you are sure.

But if that is your position, should you really be speaking to a superior that way?
gluhen: (223。)

text;

[personal profile] gluhen 2019-04-19 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
[ Superior?! That's even worse than mistaking him for his boyfriend. ]

I will have you know I would have easily outranked him had I remained in Feendrache. Not to mention our backgrounds differ significantly.

And yet, you did not remain and told me when we first met that you were no longer a knight. And however mean his birth might be, he is one.

[Is Gawain trying to be a dick? No, not exactly.]
gluhen: (028。)

[personal profile] gluhen 2019-04-20 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
[ Well, he's not wrong, but Percival left voluntarily. He wasn't demoted or kicked out. ]

That's because I have my own path to pursue. I left the Order in the hands of Lancelot. What I intend to achieve lies far beyond Feendrache and even my own homeland.

[He has a response, until the name Lancelot appears. As always, that name causes a bit of turmoil, though Gawain has to quickly remind himself that a name is a name and doesn't mean it is that Lancelot.]

So you have lofty ambitions? That's excellent.

Your friend, Lancelot though, he is the one in charge, not Vane?
gluhen: (039。)

text;

[personal profile] gluhen 2019-04-21 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, he is the new Captain of the Order of White Dragon Knights. The other follows him around like a lost puppy, and you still have the nerve to claim he outranks me.

[ Though Percival has wondered before if he'd be leading had he remained in Feendrache, but that's a consideration best left unexplored. That option is non-existent for him now. ]
galatining: (pic#12496435)

text;

[personal profile] galatining 2019-04-23 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know, if he's still a member of that order, then doesn't he out rank you anyways?

[He doesn't get the logic, but he'll gladly pass the mention of that name over for now.]
gluhen: (005。)

text;

[personal profile] gluhen 2019-04-23 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
Not in skill alone. A title is merely a title. I've seen nobles outranked by low-borns. Lancelot himself comes from a humble background yet has risen to the rank of Captain.

[ Granted, Percival had a small hand in getting him there, but details details. He'd rather it be his rival than anyone else. ]

text;

[personal profile] galatining 2019-04-24 01:19 pm (UTC)(link)
So you feel Sir Vane is inferior to you in skill, is that it?
gluhen: (023。)

text;

[personal profile] gluhen 2019-04-28 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Of course, he is. But it doesn't mitigate his strengths, no matter how few and far between they are. Why are you so interested in learning of them? Don't you have any pesky comrades of your own?
galatining: (pic#12496434)

text;

[personal profile] galatining 2019-04-30 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
I was merely asking because I like to learn of fellow knights, even
when they come from strange lands. And while I have many fellow Servants here, only a few of them are from my homeland, so sometimes it leaves me with little to do.
gluhen: (022。)

There is more to be learned by sparring with them yourselves rather than hearing me speak of them. I'll have you attend our next training session and sate your curiosity so long as you leave your personal matters behind closed doors.

Then it is settled. I will send you the details when the time has come to pass.

And willingly or not, we are both far past that stage.

I shall look forward to it.

And I hope that perhaps I can improve your opinion of me in the future.
