Out of curiosity, how many of you are looking for moonlacing partners? I mean, you could probably just ask a friend or something, but for the more available, what do you have to offer that makes you stand out from the others who are looking for partners?

A little here and there, nothing too fancy though. I do not really eat meat, but otherwise I can handle most things.

my teacher taught me how to cook what i hunt when i was a small girl
i still do it you need to be practical

Practicality is good. The taste just doesn't do much for me these days. And I do not hunt more unless it is with or for others. They can use the meat just fine.

There was a venture where I ended up having to eat, well a lot of it. So I went off it a little. And never cared to get the taste back. Besides, I like vegetables and fruit so much more.

It's quite a famous adventure for me, Gwenhwyfar. My most famous one.

Have you ever heard of a man known as the Green Knight? Or Bertilak de Hautdesert?

i have not head of a man by that name

i have heard a story of a green man with an ax challenging men in your court
while carrying a plant in the other hand

and i have also been told stories by my teacher of green fair folk that reside in the otherworld

the details of the green man with an ax are scant
my storyteller is a child and she has told me many ridiculous stories

A child? But that makes sense, it is an odd tale, so the details might drift a little.

I fought him though and survived the challenge, against all odds. Or rather found out the challenge was not what he had led me to believe it was.

I was about eighteen or so then and it was my first real quest aside from slaying the dragon Vortigan, which was with the King.

yes it was lancelot's child who told me many stories of arthur's knights and strange adventures
i thought most of them were just her imagination

it sounds like it was a dreadful challenge, gawain, and at such a young age
why was this challenge directed at you?

Was that child called Galahad?

And it was directed because I chose to take it on, foolish as that was. He came in on Christmas to throw it down. I wanted to prove myself desperately, without knowing what I was in for.


The king's uncle? Was like the force of the isles themselves brought to bear. It felt impossible almost, but the King, along with what little aid I could render, felled him.

She? Is Galahad a girl where you are from? Because he was a young man when I knew him in life. Granted, he is in the body of a young lady right now, so maybe it's not so different.


I do think more of it these days! But like I said, I was very young and eager to show off. And honestly, I learned a lot.


He became a dragon for a bit. The King has the power of a dragon as well.
Granted, where I am from, Dragons are powerful beasts made of energy.
