[The transmission is technically a video - though throughout it all the screen remains unevenly black and rough-textured, as if a piece of fabric had been tossed across the lens of the camera. The voice that speaks is recognizably Daisy Tonner's, though there's a faint burr and growl to it, as if it had been run through a sound modifying program. Or something.]
All right. Suppose anyone with an opinion can chime in, but this is mostly for the Sanguis lot. Or anyone else who gets . . . like that. Bloodthirsty.
[It's such a crawlingly, hideously personal thing to ask. But if there was ever a place she might find people who could come close to understanding her own situation, this might be it. And she has to try.]
How do you get through it?

The real tough ones don't.
Then again, you might wanna take all this with a grain 'a salt. I've gone through a lot of punching bags.
[He chuckles wheezily.]
But I don't mind much. My main reason for doin' it's to... well, one, have somethin' to hit. But two, wear me down. Tirin' myself out til the bloodlust passes seems to be workin' so far.
Plus, you know, exercise. So if a punchin' bag don't work out the way you are now... hell, maybe findin' your own way to burn the energy's worth a shot too.

It's worth a try.
[Anything's better than pacing a claw-scuffed tread in her floor.]
I'm Daisy. Nice to meet you.

Dell Conagher. Most folks call me "Engie," on account of me bein' an engineer. Pleasure to meetcha, ma'am.
