[Sherry's been looking at this comm unit for days trying to figure out how to ask this, today she just decides to bite the bullet.]

I guess there's no way to ask this without sounding insane but, has anyone else here met people from their world but different times?

I'm not sure how much is safe to tell my friend, I'm over a decade ahead of him.

...Oh dear. That would make it more difficult to judge.

Being on the opposite side of your problem, I'm not sure if I have any practical advice - only that your friend might ask about it eventually, and the truth might help more than dodging the question.

Yeah, so much as happened I'm a little scared to talk about it, what if the timeline changes when we go back? [Because they have to make it back right?]

But you have a point Leon is going to start asking questions. I better decide what to tell him.

If it does, you may not know - it may only change for him, since you've already lived through that time. Or the ripple effect may mean it doesn't matter, or it might result in things being better than they were.

Whatever the case may be, we're not going to find out right away, but you do have to find a way to manage the gap while we're here.
