Good afternoon, everyone. This is Eichi Tenshouin. I was hoping that I could seek out some advice from those of you willing to listen.
There seems to be a situation in which one of my friends reacts poorly to me in certain situations, and it's made public enough that it's impossible for me to ignore. For example, if a new commercial of mine is announced, this friend will immediately post something to social media that directly criticizes it without actually addressing me by name. Or, if I happen to post certain pictures of myself, the reaction is just as instant. I've looked into this, and I believe it's called "vagueing."
I have spoken to this friend, but each time it seems that things have been solved, the issue starts over once more without warning. I must be causing some ill feelings to inspire this sort of reaction, but it's all tied directly to my success. I wonder what to do...
This is the first time I'm using the network to post something on my own, so I hope that I've done so correctly. Thank you.
[For context, mid last month Eichi had a boost in popularity from a concert after his months of idol work and now is on the radio, TV, commercials, and etc instead of just indie gigs, so feel free to recognize him as an idol from his name if you'd like!]

It seems a bit self-centered...
Always thinking it’s about you.
Maybe if your “friend” does have a problem
That kind of behavior is what’s inspiring it.
[ just some friendly perspective from a totally uninvolved party!
@ him next time you little bitch.]no subject
I wonder if the timing can be called a coincidence when it happens so many times in a row. At that point, isn't it a pattern? I'd be relieved to hear it wasn't, however...
Though your comment also goes from "it's a coincidence" to "because you realize it, it's not a coincidence and it's your fault." Isn't that strange?

Do all idols have this problem?
Also! Your last concert was really, really amazing. Congratulations on it! ⭐️ 🌟 ✨

As for "something else," do you mean... other than these repeated posts? Well, they did argue with me directly over the phone multiple times and accuse me of things like being self-centered because I've been offered jobs.

Is that the first conclusion you jump to? That's unfortunate... I don't think I've been loathsome at all. I wonder why you'd think that?

Unfortunately... You haven't noticed it, Ryuu-kun?
We seem to continue to have this back and forth issue, so please don't think it reflects on your attempts to help. You were able to buy us some time of peace.

and that's on them not you
no subject
Do you think so? There are reasons for his irritation, but I don't believe they should be pointed at me. Still, this sort of thing happens.
If you do believe it's on them and not me, are you saying I should ignore them?

It's difficult for me to make friends, and I don't want to give it up so easily. I promised...
Ah, maybe I'm thinking too much like a child.

[Maybe it's just because he's so used to having a childhood friend who says everything on his mind. That and Linhardt is not one to make that kind of effort unless he cares about someone... ]

I wouldn't bother with a post like this if they weren't worth it to me.

Ditch them. You're a public figure and you don't have time for hangers-on and entertaining people who don't give a shit about you. They sound like a terrible "friend".
no subject
I suppose my problem is that I believe he does care about me. Or, at least, I'd like to think so...

obviously you don't wanna stop being friends with this person but if they keep doing this "vagueing" stuff it could be a hint that they just don't like you
or it could all just be you jumping to conclusions!
wow this network place really feels like it's just a way for people to vent
no subject
Ah, but the suggestion of cornering them is a new one. It's a bit more forceful than I normally like, but...
