... Hypothetically speaking, if someone were to look into finding somewhere to y'know. Spar. Train. Keep the rust off their fighting skills in case we get something worse than a sewer full of giant vines trying to swat us like flies for the hell of it. That kind of thing. Is there anywhere around here that would fit that kind of criteria?

What're the chances of half of those Knights they've got posted around here sticking their noses where they aren't wanted? Most of the Knightly types I've come across aren't the type to just nod and let a bunch of people waving weapons around get on with their day without throwing a tantrum.

And if that's the case and the chances are high... whereabouts here are they least likely to go snooping?

Or take the longest to get to. I'm not picky.

[ Hypothetically speaking, of course. ]

Yes, he and I have the same number now.

[Which isn't entirely new, but the last time that was the case was very different.

Since he's been able to return Lucifer's wings, why not give him an excuse to use them?]

My expectation is "something else", but all we can do is see how they behave, at this juncture.

Fair enough. Hard-to-reach locations that civilians won't notice should minimize trouble.

Only among Primarchs, usually.

[Although he was a unique case, having only two. But then, perhaps that was owed to his role as a spare]

Isn't it the reverse? Flies are drawn to the odor of vinegar. Regardless, they have us at a disadvantage, having no way to leave without relying on their assistance. Doubtless, they're well aware of it.

But you're right, it could make passable entertainment.

Lucifer would surely know which is correct, as he oversaw evolution. I suppose it could be considered a rank, but it's also indicative of the manner in which we were created. More wings correspond to greater strength, and usually responsibilities to suit.

[Actually the more he thinks of it, Yuri's summation is apt]

Better to err on the side of caution and be pleasantly surprised than the reverse, I'd say. The lack of explanation for our arrival alone is questionable.

His power has been compared to one, but in effect, his role was to keep watch over the world. Maintain stability, and protect it, generally from a distance.

Direct intervention, so far as I know it, has been rare.

[Like that whole Calamity tantrum he had. Lucifer showed up for that]

We'll just have to see what comes of our presence here.

There is a Creator, but he's otherwise occupied. He created the Astrals, who in turn made Primals. Lucifer and I are such beings, although my role was... Far departed from his level of responsibility.

[Glorious babysitter's not inaccurate]

Wouldn't mind a pleasant surprise.

Perhaps the level of strength might be termed that way, but we're still made beings. Deities aren't usually engineered, are they?

I suppose we'll find out what surprises await us, one way or the other. But do let me know if you need a hand.

[Or more to the point, some wings to carry him]

If notoriety is the requisite, scarcely anyone knew I existed until recently. The same can be said of Lucifer, or any other Primarch, really.

If nothing else, I can deliver on the grounds of combat and coffee.

[Yes, that was a pun. A terrible, terrible pun]

"Hyping" and "bigging"? Mortals had all but forgotten Primarchs, really.

Let me know if anything comes up.

[He doesn't offer assistance to every mortal out there, but hey, Yuri's capable and has healthy skepticism, he approves]
