i've never wished for him to be taken here, or taken to the world i was on before this. i've learned to live without him, though i haven't wanted to. i know there are compromises we have to make - moonlacing i'll have to do with others, for instance - and i'm prepared to embrace the challenge again, for the sake of myself and everyone else on this new world. i'm sure he'd want me to take care of myself, too.

I know what you mean exactly. It hasn't hurt me in this case, since he was still willing to be my friend. And my other friends, who have come here and left, have the opposite perspective! To them, I was dead. Time is so, so fluid here. It's strange...And I don't want to think of what will happen if I ever lose the one I love here, only to have him come back without knowing me...That would hurt more than my death ever could, I think.
