There are no odd ears or other features, and in fact, she's reaching up to touch her head and feel it from different angles.]

You know you've been in this city for way too long when not turning into an animal during your cycle is weird. I was one hundred percent waiting to wake up with bunny ears [Kay holds up two fingers over her head, in front of her ponytail, to illustrate.] again like always last Iris, but nothing! [She spreads her arms, and shrugs.] I don't mind not turning into anything, but I really liked the electric magic that came with being an Iris or whatever you call someone who's Iris...

I'm just worried if this means I'm gonna get some different crazy moonblessing like the time I became a fox. But now that I think about it...

[A snap of her fingers.]

Hey, if you could choose what animal you'll change into every time your moon cycle is happening, what would it be?

Yeah, I was just asking around in case you could choose. And this is the first time my moonblessing didn't pop up like it always has every month.

[While she'd like to be a bird and fly, being a normal human suits her just fine.]

For some reason, her species and dragons just don't get along.

I wouldn't be happy at all if she suddenly decided to hate me after everything we've been through, so...

Then again, as long as she's not here, I guess it wouldn't really matter.

I'd definitely want to turn into a dragon. A big ferocious one. [He does mind changing into a fox on his moon cycle. But a Dragon would be way cooler.]

I don't always get any animal features either, still guessing it's randomized every time but also guessing we can never be too sure here...

Also that is a tough choice between a rabbit and a deer. [Or swan now too... or jellyfish if her water tribe origin has anything to say on the matter.] But I'd choose rabbit; easy to hide if I ever want to be alone during that time but also easy to be around people too.

I get rabbit ears and a tail, but thanks to the Iris cycle, I wind up looking for people and not wanting to be alone. [She looks for hugs and people who can headpat her or hold her hand.]
