[Good morning, Prismatica! This is Kay Faraday all up in everyone's biz, and she...doesn't seem to be affected by her moonblessing even though the triple moon cycle is now in effect. There are no odd ears or other features, and in fact, she's reaching up to touch her head and feel it from different angles.]

You know you've been in this city for way too long when not turning into an animal during your cycle is weird. I was one hundred percent waiting to wake up with bunny ears [Kay holds up two fingers over her head, in front of her ponytail, to illustrate.] again like always last Iris, but nothing! [She spreads her arms, and shrugs.] I don't mind not turning into anything, but I really liked the electric magic that came with being an Iris or whatever you call someone who's Iris...

I'm just worried if this means I'm gonna get some different crazy moonblessing like the time I became a fox. But now that I think about it...

[A snap of her fingers.]

Hey, if you could choose what animal you'll change into every time your moon cycle is happening, what would it be?

Hmph. In that case, I would choose to continue being a cat. I've almost gotten used to it.

I've only grown paws twice.

You never know when that might happen again.

[After all, in her case, she was suddenly faced with a moon cycle wherein nothing happened.]

I haven't gotten rabbit paws, now that we're talking about this...

At least they don't have claws.

( Or do they? He wouldn't know. )

I think they have itty-bitty claws. Maybe I could clip 'em if I get them.

[bratworth]

With your itty-bitty rabbit hands?

[kayssistant]

I sure hope my itty-bitty rabbit hands are up for the challenge! If I turned into a deer and got hooves for hands, I wouldn't even be able to clip my nails!

[bratworth]

I don't believe one ordinarily clips hooves.

[kayssistant]

Ooh, good point. Still, with hooves for hands, there's a lot of things that'd be even harder to do!

[bratworth]

At least you might be able to run faster.

( A beat. )

That could come in handy.

[kayssistant]

[Wait a minute. Did this younger, stuffier Miles Edgeworth just...]

Did you just tell a joke, Mr. Edgeworth? Did you make a pun?

[bratworth]

Don't tell me I lose my sense of humour as I age!

[kayssistant]

[His reaction is so priceless, Kay is going to troll him. After stifling a laugh...]

Oh yeah, along with all your hair and your fit body. What a waste. All gone too soon...

[bratworth]

( With an air of theatrics, Edgeworth buries his face in his hands. )

How - how could it come to this!

[kayssistant]

[This is working so well that Kay can't contain her giggles any longer, and they spill out like a mighty river freed by a broken dam.]

Ha ha ha, you should've seen your face! I really had you going there!

[bratworth]

( Well, that's a relief. Although, that being said... )

I knew you were merely teasing.

( He really didn't. )

[kayssistant]

Oh, really?

[Yeah, no, she's not buying it.]

You sounded super duper convinced your future was gonna be a black hole of despair and woe.

[bratworth]

( He scoffs. )

Why would I be afraid of such an occurrence?

( His present is already such! )

[kayssistant]

[She allows herself a short laugh.]

How should I know? You were the one who flipped out!

[bratworth]

I did no such thing!

( He did not literally flip, after all... )

[And now Kay is going to wag her finger like Franziska von Karma.]
