I know it's pretty dismal stuff to announce a grand opening in the aftermath of everything that's been going on lately, but I'm going to try to make it quick and get on to the important part as fast as I can.

I'm Reimi Sugimoto, the owner and manager of Beans! Cat Cafe, on level two of Lunatia. We're a newly-opened combination cat cafe and animal shelter, where you can come to spend time, enjoy a drink, play with our cats, and maybe even take a new furry friend home with you when you go. And right now, because of everything that's happened, we're pitching in to help out as best we can, too.

Now and for a limited time only, you can order your drink with catmallows for a small additional charge, and all proceeds from the catmallows will be donated to the charities working to help the people who've been affected most by the recent tragedy. So please think about stopping by! It's all for a good cause, and they make your drink pretty cute, don't they?


Also, if you're interested in more than just a hot drink and some time with the cats, Beans! is currently hiring new staff. We're mostly looking for servers and people to help take care of the cats right now, but there are a few higher-level positions we're hiring for, too — more on that will be provided on a one-on-one basis for anybody expressing interest.

And finally, even if Beans! isn't quite your thing, please try to find some way to help out the people who need it right now. Going through this sort of thing is...really hard, and you'd be surprised how much even just one person can make a difference to someone in need. Thanks!

Gosh, and you want to work for a little cafe like mine? Haha, that's sort of a few steps down for you, isn't it?

But wow, I'd love to hear more about the kinds of things that you did for your country. What kinds of events did you plan?

[advisors]

My boyfriend is interested in opening a shop, and I would like the experience, as well the ability to help a business grow. I watched my company grow into a country, and remained involved in it for most of my life. Granted, I don't think you have quite so lofty a goal as my king did, but I would like to help none the less, a 'step down' or not.

I helped plan and organize most of the festivals, celebrations, and often helped coordinate the planning of meals and activities for visiting dignitaries and the like. It's perhaps a 'few steps above' a cafe, as you put it, but I would relish seeing what a smaller scale is like after so many years running larger events.

Well, now I'm really curious about the goals your king had!

Mm, that sounds great, actually...so, take something like the charity event we're running right now. How would you run something similar in the future?

He was the one who founded our country, and sought to become a great king to protect people and allow everyone to flourish. His... his desires changed, eventually, but I will not forget him for what he was - a good man.

It depends on the size, but I can certainly help with that! Most of it is allowing for budget and knowing what size of venue and crowd you will bring. From then on, it's just making sure the details are good.

Oh...yeah, it's not exactly the same situation, but I definitely know how it feels to have people change over time. Especially when your relationship with them changes with it.

Hmm, well! Why don't you come by and meet the cats, and if it seems like a good fit, we can get you on board, huh?

I kept by his side to the very end, as far as he would let me. I miss him, but tears will not help our country grow in the aftermath of what happened. Besides, I feel like he will come back, and then I can give him a talking to.
