I know it's pretty dismal stuff to announce a grand opening in the aftermath of everything that's been going on lately, but I'm going to try to make it quick and get on to the important part as fast as I can.

I'm Reimi Sugimoto, the owner and manager of Beans! Cat Cafe, on level two of Lunatia. We're a newly-opened combination cat cafe and animal shelter, where you can come to spend time, enjoy a drink, play with our cats, and maybe even take a new furry friend home with you when you go. And right now, because of everything that's happened, we're pitching in to help out as best we can, too.

Now and for a limited time only, you can order your drink with catmallows for a small additional charge, and all proceeds from the catmallows will be donated to the charities working to help the people who've been affected most by the recent tragedy. So please think about stopping by! It's all for a good cause, and they make your drink pretty cute, don't they?


Also, if you're interested in more than just a hot drink and some time with the cats, Beans! is currently hiring new staff. We're mostly looking for servers and people to help take care of the cats right now, but there are a few higher-level positions we're hiring for, too — more on that will be provided on a one-on-one basis for anybody expressing interest.

And finally, even if Beans! isn't quite your thing, please try to find some way to help out the people who need it right now. Going through this sort of thing is...really hard, and you'd be surprised how much even just one person can make a difference to someone in need. Thanks!

Security for a cat cafe seems a little bit...mm, I don't know. Overkill, maybe? I mean unless you're thinking of security for the cats!

It is, yeah. It's kind of a relief, too — I have a dog, and I think he's been getting pretty tired of sharing his house space with the cats! But now they have theirs so poor Arnold can finally relax again.

It's an additional charge of 1ch each! At Beans!, you get one complimentary drink included as a part of your table rental fee. If you choose to add on a catmallow, we add an additional 1ch and all of those proceeds go directly to charity!

...And I guess if you wanted five catmallows, you could do that too! It's 1ch per catmallow.

Sort of! The cafe is divided into separate rooms. There's a place that's just for people to spend time, where the cats don't go. Then there's also a place where only the cats go, no people, so that they can play and relax themselves.

Then there's a playroom where people can sit with the cats! So there are sort of different areas, to help keep stress off of the cats but also let our visitors come and see them.

As for help, I'm not exactly sure what I'm able to offer. I have some experience in running a business, watching my father handle the ones my family owns. However, I've never truly managed one of my own before. I'll have to say that I make a good leader, and I've experience in working at a bank based on my time at the previous world I was stuck in.

Am I qualified for anything?

Well, actually, one of the roles I've been looking to fill is an assistant manager position. Somebody who can handle things when I can't always be here, and help with that sort of oversight.

What would you think about doing something like that?

YEAH, I've been hearing some stuff about that teahouse and...ugh.

I didn't mean to advertise mine as competition to that one, but I can guarantee there's definitely no dolls here at Beans!, or anything like that. Just cats and a good time!

Sure, I'm definitely not going to turn away someone who's willing to help! And I don't mind a volunteer without regular hours, either, so long as you show up when you've made a commitment to. Just don't bail on me with no notice and leave me shorthanded, that's all!

The cats in the cafe are probably regular cats too. Much less talkative than nin-cats. Far more pleasant to be around. It's too precious. It must be protected.]

We've had some interest from people who want to help out with the cats so far, but I've still got some space open in the cafe part, if that interests you! You might still get pulled in to help out with cat things, but that part of it would be mostly taking orders and bringing drinks, things like that.

There are separate areas, that's how. There's a cafe-only section where the cats don't go, and then another area where you can sit with the cats if you want. Keeping it split up like that helps keep the mess down.
