I know it's pretty dismal stuff to announce a grand opening in the aftermath of everything that's been going on lately, but I'm going to try to make it quick and get on to the important part as fast as I can.

I'm Reimi Sugimoto, the owner and manager of Beans! Cat Cafe, on level two of Lunatia. We're a newly-opened combination cat cafe and animal shelter, where you can come to spend time, enjoy a drink, play with our cats, and maybe even take a new furry friend home with you when you go. And right now, because of everything that's happened, we're pitching in to help out as best we can, too.

Now and for a limited time only, you can order your drink with catmallows for a small additional charge, and all proceeds from the catmallows will be donated to the charities working to help the people who've been affected most by the recent tragedy. So please think about stopping by! It's all for a good cause, and they make your drink pretty cute, don't they?


Also, if you're interested in more than just a hot drink and some time with the cats, Beans! is currently hiring new staff. We're mostly looking for servers and people to help take care of the cats right now, but there are a few higher-level positions we're hiring for, too — more on that will be provided on a one-on-one basis for anybody expressing interest.

And finally, even if Beans! isn't quite your thing, please try to find some way to help out the people who need it right now. Going through this sort of thing is...really hard, and you'd be surprised how much even just one person can make a difference to someone in need. Thanks!

You'll most certainly have my patronage. I can't help but support a good cat cafe.

From what I heard, it was pretty bad! So we're just trying to do everything we can to help out.

I'm glad to hear there's some interest, though! It's for a good cause, so I was hoping that people would give us a try because of it.

It's such a cute idea, I can't imagine why anyone would refuse. Look at those little marshmallow cats! It's going to be hard for me to eat them.

Well, if you leave them too long, they'll probably melt into your drink! But hey, for just 1ch, you can always get another, haha!

I'll have to stock up on chroma, then~ I'm still getting used to the whole concept. It's fascinating, isn't it?

It IS pretty weird to get used to, but overall I don't think it's so bad. You can do pretty well for yourself just with hand-holding and hugging, if you're patient and not too careless. It's not as though you have to jump right in to the really heavy stuff or you can't survive.

And it's nice to know that a person can become independently wealthy by just being affectionate! The entire system just seems far less corrupt than one involving normal currency. At least at face value.

Less corrupt? How do you mean?

Well you know what they say about people with a lot of money. They tend to be pretty selfish and unreasonable and can do a lot of unpleasant things to keep it and get more of it.
