Hey, so. Between those Amphoria Pods showing off our memories of home and Valentine's Day coming up next month, I have to admit I've been thinking about something a lot lately, so why not let's make a game of it?

What's the funniest, wildest, or most embarrassing thing you've ever done in order to impress somebody you liked?

It has to be something you actually did! I mean, I know there's no good way of keeping somebody from just making something up, but that'd ruin the spirit of the game, you know? Oh, and don't say something really mortifying or awful or indecent, okay? It's not supposed to be THAT kind of game. Here's a good rule of thumb: if it's not the kind of thing you can laugh about now, it's probably not the kind of thing this game is getting at!

Mm, I feel like I should offer up some kind of prize for playing, too, so...how about a free extra drink with your next purchase of table time at Beans! Cat Cafe? i can't say i've really done a whole lot to impress someone. it's more like, if i like the way they look i straight up ask them out and if it doesn't go anywhere i move on.

How is the Valentine's Day thing even a question, though? If you're in a relationship, then you actually talk to your partner and figure out what arrangement is going to work best for you. If you're going to surprise him, then you do Valentine's Day because it comes first and it's not fair to expect him to read your mind.

If you're confessing to a guy and you're also a guy, then you do Valentine's Day because again, how could you expect him to go first when you're the one confessing? That's just ridiculous.

What's a cat cafe and why ask for embarrassing stories if you're not going to share yours.

Well, it's actually a combination cat cafe and adoption shelter, at least here at Beans! Basically we're a home for stray cats with an attached cafe where customers can come to spend time and have a drink with us. The perk is that there's an area of the cafe where the cafe part and the shelter part overlap, so guests to the cafe can sit with the cats and play with them!

And as for myself, oh, I've got tons of them. There was this one guy I liked who I thought only liked tall girls? And I'm kind of short, so I went out and bought these super high heels and started wearing them around him all the time — except I couldn't hardly walk in them! I would've done a lot better being short but comfortable, rather than looking tall until I fell on my face!

Does it have to be something that actually worked? I've some pretty good stories, but the particular person I was trying to impress at the time, wasn't so easily won over. The good news is she's even here to verify every word of it, so no having to worry about tall tales.
