Ehe... nothing, no. It's normal for me, I don't mind it or anything, but... it is kind of sad, I guess, thinking that there are worlds out there where you don't have to try so hard to get by... and you don't die in childbirth or in sickbed...

but, honestly, Konoha going into darker territory about the pros of the modern age and the cons of the past doesn't seem to put Haru off. Not that she's a naturally morbid person, but she is definitely not one to pretend things are all sunshine and rainbows.]

Yeah, technology is pretty great, even if some things about it can be a pain like social media. But modern medicine is great especially when accidental injuries and non-fatal predation happens. I don't think I'd have made it far in olden times.

Ah, social media is...kind of like this! It's just places on the internet where you can socialize with people you know or have never met before. There are websites where you share photos -- you know what photos are, right? -- and others can comment on them.

I feel like it's kind of hard to explain when technology is so new to you.

My friend Prompto taught me about the photographs... and gave me a camera, too! So I can take them... and show people! It's amazing... like little pictures of a whole time...

Why is social media a pain? Doesn't it make your life easier?

Social media's supposed to make life easier and it does! But it also gives people new avenues to bully and spread rumours too, especially when you're in school.

It never really bothered me, but I do know it can get under the skin of others who aren't used to being bullied.

Oh... Is school like that? I never imagined... I kind of thought you just went and the teachers did all the talking while the students were quiet...

In class that's how it usually goes, unless you're stuck with really rude students who talk over the teacher. But school isn't only just classes, there's a lot of in-between time and extracurricular stuff.

Where I'm from, we live and board at school and go home for extended holidays and weekends. But even then you still make friends!

School is about learning but it's also a bit like getting kids used to others too. I didn't really have many friends when I went to school.

Oh I have a brother and a sister! I guess families are smaller than those in the past, but that doesn't mean it's always one kid per family.

It's more about getting to know animals who are different than you.
