yo it's me again โœŒ๏ธ

sort of noticed a lot of questions going around about love and dating and all kinds of other stuff
figured i throw some more into the pot
see what we could uh cook up haha

[ Ignis, if you hear this, he's not really that sorry. ]

anyway so

say you were seeing somebody and they had these secrets
like stuff they never told you
would that be a deal breaker if they ever came up
(guess this goes for people who are the ones with the secrets too)

or what if there was something you wanted to tell someone but weren't really sure how to go about doing it
easy in like all up front or ignore it and hope for the best? ๐Ÿค”

oh oh and one more thing
anyone here a sword expert?
don't answer if you're thinkin about ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ’ฆ
serious stuff only

[ Honestly, he doesn't care too much for that last part, but he had to be specific. ]

well. i don't typically broadcast my dirt until it's relevant, but i've gone about it both ways. both being up front and keeping it to myself. either way, i've seen a lot of broken deals in my time

i don't think there's a right way to do it. being honest is the noble thing to do but also the hardest

re: swords, i've only worked extensively on my own. i don't blacksmith. more like build design and modifications. once upon a time i taught a class on that shit

there's no easy answer. but i can tell you that the longer you keep secrets, the harder it is to come clean. both for yourself and the person you're with.

where i'm from it's pretty common for huntsmen to design and maintain their own weapons, but we still gotta find craftsmen for the actual smithing. they're the ones with the materials. you might find someone who knows how to make a sword but will they have what you need?

if it were ever easy, no one would keep secrets

steel, a very hot fire, something to bang out very hot steel with and on. ideally some basic safety equipment and someone with enough sense to teach you how to use it. that would be a good start.
