[Perne is situated at a cosy-looking table in the Azure cafe. Chin in the palm of her hand, she tucks dark hair behind the shell of an ear.

Last time, she asked about a cathedral and couldn't recall getting a direct answer. She has, since then, assumed such a thing doesn't exist. But it did beckon some very interesting religious theory conversation.

This time, she has something different she is hunting for.]

I have found mineself with an alarming amount of free time and wish to invest it somewhere other than excessive and possibly unnecessary thought. I thought I had once heard rumour of a theatre house here in Lunatia. Is that true? I am aware we have other exhibitions of art, but mayhaps something musically or stagecraft inclined could be of benefit to many of us with such interests.

I acted as patron and worked within an opera house back where I hail from. I should like to reprise the role.

[ He's pretty sure he knows who she means, but he's not going to spoil it by pointing it out. ]

I think that sounds like a nice gift. I imagine that this person would appreciate the gesture, regardless of what it was, but something like that is better still. It would be personal.

[porcelainandblood]

[Let her try to be inconspicuous.]

You do not think it is... a bit lacking in elegance? I mean, I suppose he would not be particularly interested in anything elegant. He gave me something simple—many things, actually—some time back and I thought it would be nice to offer something in return. I do not normally do gifts, but I thought it might be nice. You are easier to gift, however. Your tastes are more like mine, I think.

[ishgards]

[ He's letting her have this one. ]

Elegance would be to your tastes, would it not? But if his tastes are different, [ like say, if he was a stinky man who wandered around in uncleaned armor ] they you needn't worry about a lack of elegance. I imagine such a person would appreciate the simplicity of it. Elegance might be overwhelming.

[porcelainandblood]

It would, but this is not a gift for me. I know better than trying to do anything overmuch. He specifically told me not to get anything that would strain me.

[She tips her head and after a moment, she nods.] Would you mind trying some of the teas that I make? You can help me pick one. I would like to make a few to choose from.

[ishgards]

[ Boy he wishes they weren't having this conversation during Sanguis. But he nods all the same. ]

I would be happy to help.

[porcelainandblood]

I appreciate it, Aymeric.

Thank you for your assistance. I suspect it will take some time for me to put them together. If you find your courage, I would be interested in seeing your Sanguis traits if they are different from last time. I enjoy seeing how others change and how it affects them. And yes, that is a wholly self-indulgent desire.

It is not a question of my courage.

[ But evidently he still gets that sanguis aggression. :') ]

I trust you. I do not think you will hurt me. And if you did beyond what I could handle, I would tell you. I would hope you would do the same for me. Although... mine moon is not Sanguis, so I do not fully know the extent of how you all endure.

[ishgards]

The physical changes are far more extensive this time.

[porcelainandblood]

You know, I know of people who have completely lost their ability to speak during their moons because of their physical changes. At least you can speak, right?

[ishgards]

[ Aymeric stops himself from pointing out that he knows who that is, too. Let her have her secrets about Estinien. There's no reason he needs to take them from her, except for the possessiveness of sanguis that he's really over. ]

I know, it could well be worse.

[ He could be a fullass dragon, too. And although he was handling all of this a lot better than when he'd first woken up like this, the irony of it being a dragon, when they all had dragon blood in their veins -- and the real concerns about that -- are not lost on him. ]

[porcelainandblood]

[She settles her chin in the palm of her hand as she eyes him.]

You know that and you still seem distressed. Is it really so terrible? I mean... It does not look awful from what I can see.

[Although it could simply be the concept of any sort of transformation at all. She would understand that. Although she will begrudgingly accept her future ones, she suspects they will still distress her.]

Is there anything I can do to help?

[ishgards]

It is not terrible. It does not hurt.

[ It's just A Lot. ]

I appreciate your offer all the same.

[porcelainandblood]

Of course. If anything should come up, do let me know.

[She suspects he will not. Aymeric's a relatively proud man and whilst she's shown herself as helpful, she couldn't blame him for being apprehensive to have her companionship.]

[ishgards]

Thank you. And if you should need anything, I am happy to offer my assistance.

[porcelainandblood]

If you make such an offer like that, I am going to make up a terribly idiotic excuse for you to assist me. Simply because I like being around you.

[ishgards]

[ oh. he blushes a little bit when she says it so openly. ]

Ah, well, perhaps if would like to see these changes, we could meet for tea?

[porcelainandblood]

[Look. She can absolutely be forward when she wants to be. It helps that no one else can see what she's saying.]

I thought you did not want me to see? Or rather, that you were afraid of hurting me.

[ishgards]

It won't be a concern if we are simply sharing each other's company.

[porcelainandblood]

[...Who's the one blushing now. It's her.]

Oh.

[And then she starts laughing all over again to make up for just something so simple has flustered her to the core.]

Well, I would not say we have to entirely move anything off the table, per se... Company is a very loose term, you know.

[ishgards]

[ They were definitely talking about sex earlier -- they'd talked about practicing feeling and confidence with sex when he'd said no because of the sanguis moon. She'd even said a little pain was good. He's surprised to find her flustered now, when she's said such things earlier. ]

I'll leave that to your discretion once you see me.

[ he's like 8 feet tall now. ]

Do you have a place you like to go to for tea? [ or -- and he really shouldn't offer this during sanguis but -- ] Or I could make some for you.

[porcelainandblood]

[A place she likes to go...
A bit like the cafe she's at now.

But his offer... There is something incredibly appealing about someone else making tea for her, because admittedly she's always been the one making tea for other people.]

I would not be against you making some for me. If that would be all right. I am an easy-to-satisfy guest, so it need not be anything fancy.

[ishgards]

I'll start a kettle.

[ and he shares his address with her, too. ]

[How very kind of him.

She doesn't spend much time getting ready. Although still not wholly interested in casual wear, she dresses simply. And as it seems proper to bring a token of gratitude for him playing host, she puts together a simple bouquet of flowers. Something for his residence to give it colour, she suspects. A bit of cheer from an unlikely source, considering she is not known for her cheer.

In half a bell or more, she arrives, still very curious over what she will end up facing. How bad could it be?]

[ishgards]

[ Aymeric is wearing loose fitting black and gold robes, because of the giant wings and tail he's now sporting. He's gained almost a foot in height, has two black horns on each side of his head, a long, blue-scaled tale, and each blue-scaled wing ends in three separate parts, and the scales on the tips look almost feathery in nature. So it's a lot. And that's before getting to the claws -- although he is doing better than he was at the beginning of sanguis and by the time she gets there the tea is almost ready!

So he goes to get the door and lets her in. The flowers are very nice, and color is always welcome as far as he's concerned. ]

[ He's a little nervous, worried that she might think him scary like this. Look, he might be friends with dragons now, but he knows how Ishgardians are, after everything. ]
