[the video shows a white rabbit wearing a sunhat with holes that her long ears slip easily into. she's got a bit of dirt smudged on her face, and in the background is a wooden exterior of a shed. there are some saplings behind her too.]

You know, if I was born a large carnivore instead of a small herbivore, I think I'd have started up some kind of brothel here...probably would have made good money in a place like this.

[that. sure is a way to get attention!]

Anyway, I'm only a small carnivore here some of the time, and there already seem to be plenty of those kinds of places. Ever since I arrived here and when the weather started getting nicer, I noticed that we were missing something...

[Haru swaps the camera to face forward, and pans a bit, showing off a relatively sparse, fenced-in lot with a good amount of raised plots of soil and flower beds already started. after a moment of showing off, she switches it back to herself.]

So! I've started up a community garden for...mostly myself honestly, but it's open for anyone else to sign up and use. I was setting up all day yesterday, and it's kind of been slow going. In highschool I managed the gardening club all on my own so I can do this by myself, but if anyone wants to stop by and help I'll treat you to some lunch! I know it's Sanguis right now, so plenty of you are stronger than usual... [she brings her free hand up to rub under her nose, smudging more dirt on her face as she mumbles:] you could probably put that to good use.

Anyway, feel free to stop by, even if it's just to sign up for your own plot of land. If nobody signs up then it's not too bad...it just means more space for me to grow my babies.

[attached to this post is the address, where the community garden is located on a once-vacant lot in Lunatia, Level 2. a sign up sheet is posted on the front door of the shed, and anyone is free to stop by and do their own thing at the gardens for the month of May.]

[ It's been a hard... last month or so. Hard enough to finally drive Isaka to try and solicit an outside perspective on his problems. Hopefully the anonymity will keep away certain people that he'd rather not discuss the matter with... ]

How many of you have found yourselves here with work left unfinished? Work that would be impossible to complete in this place?

What have you found to do with yourselves instead?

Was the change a difficult one to adapt to?

two: been awhile since i did a "you guys have questions, i'll answer them" in general thing as your resident advice guy so that's still an option here so have at. that's substantially way less exciting but go for it

Now, recently I've answered those auction bids about worthy pupils who'd like some private lessons. I'm also here today to dispel some misconceptions about a school of magic very near and dear to my heart:

Necromancy.

It is one of the oldest schools of magic known to the mortal races, and among the Vanthians, it's a long-standing cultural tradition. The streets of Ebonspire are filled with many an individual who gave up their bodies to everlasting vigilance.

Contrary to what one might believe, however, necromancy isn't solely about animating the dead. Animating the body of a humanoid is going to be illegal here anyway, so I'm not going to be getting into that, and besides, I can't think of any worthy reason anyone might need to here.

For the purposes of its practical use here, let's get to the basics: at its core, necromancy is about life force manipulation. This can be used to heal the ailing, solve a murder, or even resurrect a willing soul from death, or for combat if you're looking for more subtlety than a fireball or what have you.

Or, yes, zombies. There's always zombies. (Although I'd advise most aspiring necromancers to work with skeletons instead; they're far more hygienic and aesthetically charming.)

cut for tldr and NECROMANCY )

How do I become Iris? Do I need to pray to the moons or something like that?
I know some people have changed their moonblessing.

Does anyone know? Asking for myself, not a friend.

Thank you!

Good day.

I'm a senior high school student, supposedly, prior to being whisked away here. I understand that it's the middle of the school year, but I was hoping to enroll have some sense of normalcy. Are there any of you here who are in the Academy, and are around my level? I'd like to know the culture, where the hangouts are, amongst other things. Do inform me. I'd hate to be the new kid in campus who knows nothing.

Or if you'd like to dissuade me from enrolling, I don't mind... I'd just like something to do in this place.

While I'm here... is there a pattern to what moonblessing people receive? I don't seem to be affected by the Sanguis moon... You'd think it this world would play on opposites, but apparently not.

So? What do you think of your own moonblessing?

[ Bathtime musing network posts seem to be the norm for Fish and this one is just like the last one-- except with a different color water and suds (it's pink, orange, and white!) keeping the rest of them from being seen. They've got a glass of bubbly champagne and a whole bottle of the stuff to the side of the tub and it seems like the communicator's perched on a very convenient table that stretches over the tub. ]

So! It's come to my realization that I've been living in this city for over a year! And, I've been thinking about making big changes to my living space. I mean... I did make one before moving in with my now partner and moving into a bigger unit in this same building he lives in. But with the Chroma we earn between us and our other good friends, I was thinking about doing something big.

... like changing the whole building to be more customized to our needs. There's only three of us living here anyway.

What I wanted to ask was... have anyone of you made any drastic changes to your living spaces over your time living in Lunatia? How did you go about it and how did it work out? I'm curious to learn more!
