Any fellow bad guys want to team up and commit some crimes sometime? My knife-bat hand's getting kinda itchy, if you know what I mean. Know any good museums to rob? Shops to lift? Parks to litter in? Oh, I think we've had a communication mixup here. No, see, thieving is how I express MY villainy. And I'm gonna make it so everyone else is free to express THEIRS!! But that's gonna come later. After I get promoted a couple times.

Hey, you catch on quick!!! That's about the size of it. But I'm not gonna force anyone, obviously!!! Good guys can keep living their inferior law-abiding lifestyles if they want to. They just gotta know that their path is the BORING one!!

Sure, though... If they don't do anything to stop you, then what's the point of being a bad guy? If you're essentially getting away with it all?

I guess... getting to keep all the cool stuff for ourselves?? And also not worrying about getting arrested. That'd be a pretty big perk too.
