[ Jian Yi attaches the info. ]

[ and it does take... A While for Sinistra to find his way. He's been here a few months but he's still learning a lot of things. He's been Incorporeal for a long time and adapting is not the best.

He at least knows to knock when he reaches the address Jian Yi had given him. ]

[ Jian Yi'd had it all planned out. Sinistra would come over. He'd tell this elaborate story about the roommate and how he had to leave but that was okay because Jian Yi was there. It'd all work out and it wouldn't be awkward at all.

He opens the door and bows, nodding a few times as he waves Sinistra inside and shuts the door behind him. ]

I'm Jian Yi. [ Not bad. ] I don't have a roommate, it was me all along! [ Well. There's that. ]

Um. Please don't leave.

[bisection]

[ Not the greeting he expected, though he can't be sure what he expected really. He stares at Jian Yi for a long minute before frowning.]

It ... Does not really matter. Why would I leave?

[hisman]

Because I lied to you.

[ He'd spun a story about a roommate that didn't exist because he was too embarrassed to admit that he needed help. Jian Yi is confused and a little lost. ]

I don't know what I'm doing.

[bisection]

It is fine... I am used to being lied to.

[ the Archangel does it all the time, doesn't he?

He shakes his head.]

I would be meeting a stranger no matter what. So. No matter what your reasons, it does not make much of a difference.

[ he furrows his brow and frowns, confused.]

It...is ok. I am not very knowledged in these things, either. No need for stress.

I didn’t want to lie to you. [ Jian Yi feels like an ass. It was to protect himself but now it’s backfired. ] I won’t lie again.

You don’t know what you’re doing either?

[ He tosses his hands up and flops down on the couch, legs kicked out and arms draped over his face. It’s a dramatic gesture, obviously, but he still peeks at Sinistra through his arms. ]

Now I’m more stressed out. If you don’t know then how are we supposed to do anything.

[bisection]

Okay...

[ He doesn't trust that but that's not Jian Yi's fault.

He startles a bit as he follows Jian Yi inside and watches him flop over. ]

Oh. No. I mean, this situation. I know how to do... things. I would explain, but Yuri said people would... think I was 'perverted' if I spoke about things like that. And that would be bad.

[hisman]

[ Jian Yi is very expressive with his body. He can't seem to help how reactive he is and how, for someone so slight, he fills up as much room as he does. He just wants attention and it spills over into his actions. ]

I don't think it's perverted.

[ He drops his arms and tips his head towards his companion. ]

You have to tell me what we're going to do before we do it and you have to help me do it. If you don't talk about it then I won't know. Yuri is wrong.

[ Who is Yuri? A friend? His lover? ]

[ he nods, understanding what Jian Yi wants here. It's ok to be straightforward, maybe. He's not used to talking to anyone but his brother and members of the Order... There's so much to learn.

He walks towards the couch but doesn't sit, just hovering awkwardly nearby. ]

I will. You are the one who does not know, right ? So I can do what you like when you ask. You wanted to just start by holding hands and the like first, right?

[hisman]

[ Jian Yi straightens and scoots over to give Sinistra room to sit beside him, though he doesn't suggest it. That's up to him to decide. ]

I can't ask if I don't know what I like.

[ But he understood how this was going to go. He also knew what sex was and everything that went along with it. Jian Yi just wasn't sure of what he did and didn't want to do. Fortunately, his partner seems to get that. ]

Yeah, start with holding hands.

[ He lifts one out and up. ]

[ It's fine with him. Maybe he'll learn some things this way, too. It's probably better paced than what the Archangel's run him through.

He watches Jian Yi scoot and take a moment before he sits down with a gap between them. He's not great at taking hints, but sometimes his growing common sense appears.

He looks at Jian Yi's hand and nods, reaching out with his own and clasping his gently. ]

Is this okay?

[ Jian Yi didn't have any experience to back up the things he said but he was speaking from the heart. He was treading unknown waters and doing his best. Hopefully, Sinistra could understand that. ]

It's okay.

[ The contact is different yet the same as it was back home. Not that he held hands with many people, but contact in general. The major difference was how he felt after. Warmer, more affectionate. All instantaneously. He squeezes Sinistra's hands a little tighter, twines their fingers together. ]

Can I move closer?

[ He nods to Jian Yi, feeling a bit more at ease now that Jian Yi seems at ease. He is so... not used to people. How could he be? But in order to survive, in order to feel like he could be 'human', he needs to try, doesn't he?

He looks at their hands as Jian Yi laces their fingers together. He often holds hands with his brother and even sometimes with the Archangel when they feign mutual affection, but not often with others. It almost feels strange, but the warmth against his chilly palm feels nice. Somewhat comforting.

Jian Yi poses his question and Sinistra nods slowly, welcoming him over with a silent approval. ]
