There's magic, which I hear some worlds don't have, but none of this business of making love for it or turning into animals every damn month. We don't have any of the tecknology here for getting news on a glass pane or transporting yourself to places instantly. You want to know what's happening in the world, you drop by the nearest tavern. You want to travel, you use a cart, a boat, or your feet.
