How do you deal with guilt from something you haven't yet done...? Can you atone for it?
Oh, I apologize for the strange questions but I've been wondering somethings lately.
Like have you ever wondered what happens to us when we go home from this place?
Can we change our future with the knowledge we learn here or are we never able to stop our predestined fate?

you don't carry any of the memories you make here home, and things will play out the way they're supposed to whether you like it or not
sucks, but that's just like the way it is
as for beating yourself up for things that you haven't really done yet in your timeline, i would say to try and take it easy on yourself y'know?
sometimes things are out of our control, it's hard to accept... but honestly, I doubt you're really a bad person because you're feeling these things right now.
Text un: PinkPrincess
It is not something can take lightly which makes it quite hard to not beat myself up over.

as for going home...
we dont get to keep everything weve earned
but youre a different person when you go back
you keep something even if you dont know it. its like constant deja vu
dont worry about going back to something that isnt even promised tho. live for the here and the now and that what can be thats right in front of you
you know?
Text un: PinkPrincess
there is really no changing fate then, I suppose?
it looks more and more like that is my only choice.

As someone who's gone back home once - most people tend to not have any memories of this place upon return, so "changing the future" seems to be impossible; but I personally want to look for a way to go back with the memories of this place.
Another thing I will say is that there's also a possibility that if you do learn information about the 'future', it might not necessarily be your own future, as parallel worlds do exist, which consists of deviations. And there's the possibility that even if you did wind up changing the future, that would only be so in your own world and nobody else's. And that the 'future' that was described to you was already something set in stone in the world of those who spoke it to you.
That's my personal thoughts on the matter, however.

I've been worried about what I've heard with regards to returning home though.

others have said being here changes nothing.

Baby steps one moment and one day at a time. Live in the moment, spend time with people to get other things to think about and try to enjoy life as much as you can and have fun while we're here. Take it easy on yourself, when there's nothing we can do about anything that happens back home from this place. Sorry, I know that's so much easier said than done.
Be kind to yourself, you don't sound like a bad person at all.
no subject
it is easier said than done but I am still glad to you hear you say that.
I think I am a good person and I trust... [Trusted someone she cared about...]
others as much as i can.

I'm sort of new here. But I've been wondering the same questions since I got here, so I've asked around a lot. This is the most common, and most comforting, theory that I've heard so far. I need to research on my own more. But as far as I've heard, our destinies aren't interrupted, just frozen.

[Until she goes home and...well there is no real future for her there. No life after what she does.]
Frozen sounds like a good way of putting it.

Several of my friends however are from a time in my future.
I don't want to ask them about it, though. I'd much rather not know the outcome.
However even if you have the will and intent to let yourself be forgiven, I think that's enough.
no subject
it maybe better to know learn of the future in a way.
thank you for saying that...i can try?

I want to believe that we can change our own futures. I want to believe that our sins can be atoned for, and that we can achieve peace within ourselves and the world.
Perhaps, it is a pipe dream as people say we do not retain the memories of what we have done here. [ Which is irritating and terrifying for him, but he digresses. ] But yes, there are ways to atone for the sins that we have not yet committed, especially since it sounds as though you are suffering from the guilt of them.

I cannot ponder these things. I return to a state between life and death regardless.

the you that exists in another timeline is not the same you that exists now
you got no idea what kinds of events or other stuff even led you to make whatever decisions you did
so just focus on being the you that exists in the present i guess?
no subject
Be the person I believe I am here then?
