greetings everyone! i apologize that i have fallen off on my blog posting, but i have found MANY MANY ACTIVITIES to occupy my time here. unfortunately, i have come down with a case of tunnel vision and neglected to be hospitable to my fellow residents in the interim.
so! i am having a little get together in two weeks (ง ื▿ ื)ว are you interested? it shall be hosted by three fine gentlemen looking for other equally hospitable persons who want to hang out in our appropriately decorated apartment. (chroma harvesting is not the intention).
i shall be supplying refreshments and hors d'oeuvres, though you are also encouraged to bring samplers and cuisine if you like! i am quite the sucker for trying new things from various cultures, especially the food of the laymen. i have amassed an extensive collection of doritos for this party, including some limited edition bags that cost me quite a fortune. please let's not let them go to waste.
also the party is pet friendly, all animals welcome! ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ (example: a bear, though perhaps only trained bears)
please let me know if you have specific requests for food, music, or activities.
sincerely Σ>―(〃°ω°〃)♡→ suoh tamaki
❰ there will indeed be a party log on the 14th and there will indeed be many doritos ❱

and for those unfamiliar, the same is also true. consider it the theme of the gathering. (「• ω •)「

every guest leaves with something to remember this gathering by, take the unfamiliar to their familiar home, and we show them a token of gratitude for showing.

better yet, i shall come up with a series of party games, so the more valuable flavors are given away as prizes. though, of course i wouldn't want anyone to go empty-handed.
i shall set aside some of the diet green tea with blueberry for you, though! (i won't tell anyone you've received such favouritism ٩(◕‿◕。)۶)

thank you tono. it'll be our secret

and in fact the amount isn't quite that extensive at all, just only compared to the more meager earnings i have here.

Are they at least a different flavor than normal, or is it really just the bag?
no subject
i'm very excited to see what this particular manufacturer thinks a turkey tastes like. the actual food they're supposed to emulate is usually not at all found in the flavor profile!
no subject
Pretty sure they're going to taste nothing like turkey though. Most of those flavors are never all that close to what they say.
no subject
i don't expect it to taste like turkey at all. not even like the congealed lunch meat that likes to be passed off as turkey...but i do want to know what exactly that fake turkey taste will taste like. simply salt? a little bit of a vague meat taste? i'm so intrigued!
no subject
Though if I had to guess, maybe it might taste somewhat like the spices used for roasted turkey?
...Not going to lie though, I'm a little surprised on why you're so excited about it.

Is keeping bears as pets something that is common, where you're from?

is this just a junk food party?
[ would he bring honey butter chips? maybe ]
no subject
if you have any strange junk food you would like to bring or recommend, i am all ears! it will be the main theme of the food available though, yes.
no subject
honey butter chips aren't really a fad anymore but i still like them
it's not really strange but they're good

they're really good
not really salty like your usual potato chip

also what refreshments you mean your commoner teas?? you’re trying to pawn it all off on the rest of us finally?
[ Zuko’s got all kinds of jokes coming your way today, it seems, Tamaki... too bad they probably don’t really read as jokes as much as he’d like them to. ]
no subject
you have also always been welcome to partake in any of my teas with me. in fact, i prefer it to be a shared experience! if you would like to sample any before the party, i shall soon be lining up a selection that shall be shared among the guests. help me pick out which to feature!
no subject
[ Zuko's trying to, uh, joke... I-Is it working? Sarcasm works online, right? Does he even want it to work; have the twins' torturous humor rubbed off on him that much? ]
i think you should serve all of them
as many as possible
but no i won't partake
uncle gave me real tea
which you are also allowed to try...
i'm sure your body misses natural ingredients.....
no subject
and you are certainly correct about that! while i do find this to be a nice, time consuming hobby while i am here, it WOULD be nice to enjoy something more palatable. but only if you're sure! i'm sure it's a somewhat limited resource, or was it found here and not from home?
no subject
........ :)
anyway its from here, uncle just has good taste
we go to that teashop tsukiyo
i have several flavors stored up, what kind of real tea do you like??
but i dont have any blueberry green tea, watermelon anything, or mucho mango, just so you know. i have jasmine and ginseng and nicer stuff like that.

And what, pray tell, are... do-ri-tos?

though there's nothing particularly engaging about his setting outside of his four poster bed's draperies and a sleeping dog. ❱
Ah! A dorito is a corn chip, made for laypersons as a snack. They have a mealy taste, but they're dusted with a certain flavoring. It's quite annoying and gets all over your fingers -- but that's simply an aspect of the experience. I find people actually say it's a positive feature, though the flavoring is usually off the mark in emulation somehow.
i'm so sorry to be so late!
The drapery, at least, will draw his approval. Finally, someone with sufficient flair for the dramatic(???). ]
...and by laypersons you mean-- commoners?
[ There's not much of an overt class divide in Lunatia, but there certainly is where he's from. As is, perhaps, evident from the fact that he telegraphs foreign gentry with everything from his ~Byronic aesthetic~ to his oddly accented speech. ]

you can just call it ‘junk food.’ convenience food.
no subject
junk food is much more apt, though. i shall refer to my party as 'TAMAKI'S JUNK FOOD AND FAMILY GAME EXTRAVAGANZA (≧◡≦) ♡'!
no subject
[ judgmental of the consumer? like cheap junk for the impoverished layman was some amusing concept? neither of those is particularly light-hearted though, so he abandons them in favor of a kinder presentation. ]
... overselling on the greatness of junk food? sometimes it gets you through to your next work shift so you don’t pass out or whatever, but it’s not exactly top notch.
so why you’d spend a fortune on them is a little confusing. unless that was sarcasm I missed?

That sounds lovely. I would absolutely love to attend. I don't think I can bring my pet, though. She's not exactly indoor friendly.
