I ain't surprised. Guessing four legs makes it a lot easier. [He grew up with horses, too.] It takes nine or more for humans.

Well, mainly, you use your feet. Does that make sense?

Start on your toes, then all the way down to your heel. That's usually where to put your weight as you're moving. Make any sense?

I can imagine. With the hoofs, you just put the whole thing down, right?

If it helps you any, it takes practice. Hell, my father had to learn how to walk again a few years back.
spah: (but i don't think hank done em this way)

Could be both. Feet are a lot softer to begin with. Find yourself some nice shoes?

Yes. Both of them. You know how my right hand is a prosthetic?
[Dell never directly pointed it out, but he keeps it uncovered these days. He'd be surprised if she didn't see it at least once.] I made it myself. And I made new legs for him, too.

Your choice, I reckon. Depends on how comfortable you are on bare human feet. I don't know how long it takes to change back from that kinda thing.

Farm accident... yeah. He's a stubborn old man, trying to do things he can't bounce back from nowadays.

Here's hoping. In the meantime, maybe some two-dollar sandals will do ya.

Much appreciated, ma'am. I just learned from the best. My grandfather designed my hand, actually.

He did. I don't know if I inherited any wisdom, per say, but we definitely got a lot of know-how.

Now those are talents in and of itself. I got a supervisor who's done the same for us.
