[ A simple fix! They must have one somewhere... Doumeki keeps his hold on Konoha and and settles his stance carefully, to show her. They're pressed awful close, but Doumeki only has eyes for Yashiro so he literally does not notice or care. ]

Like this. Angle your feet outward. It is good to bend your knees -- you will be unable to brace if you lock them.

[They... actually didn't have a stool, because. Well. Konoha is used to being seven feet tall and her husband is closer to nine, and that was without rearing onto their hind legs, so.

Who needs stools? But- Doumeki was being smart again! Great idea! Then she wouldn't need to literally climb Gonta.

And thankfully for Konoha's learning process, Doumeki isn't the only one with eyes only for a single person, and she doesn't seem to mind at all that they're technically almost tango-ing. Instead, she focuses on his feet, trying to copy his stance and sort of... bend her knees...]

Jinba are really good at locking joints... I shouldn't... ?

[ Time to ask Riou if he can make them a nice wooden stool... See, Doumeki's been tall since he was like 14, he knows all about the struggle of being tall and surrounded by short people.

Even if they weren't practically family at this point (if you asked Konoha), she knows way too much about Doumeki and Yashiro's sex life to even think this should be shameful. So she will just take advantage of his broad chest to sort of. Smush her face against him for balance while she lifts one foot after the other trying to flex and loosen up her legs. Once done, she straightens back up and tries a new stance, slightly more relaxed.]

[ Doumeki nods. He's never heard of the dragon tea, but then he hasn't bought things beside the dusklight bracelet.

It's all good, Konoha. Doumeki's too gay to even consider doing anything untoward. So he just holds her while she tries to get her balance, steady and careful. ]

[ He steps carefully away, still holding onto her arms so that she doesn't fall on her face. ]

[Konoha might worry about untoward things being done to Yashiro sometimes (though... more like “worry about how not worried they are”) but the last thing she wants to do when she’s trying to navigate human legs is fret so-

Doumeki is perfect. And stool smart!

She definitely keeps a hold of his hand when he steps back but... after a few seconds of wobbling, straightening back up... she cautiously lets go, both arms held out for balance on either side as her face breaks out into a more triumphant expression than really belongs for something as simple as this.]

[ That's all good, they've worked that out. I can't believe Konoha is quickly becoming Doumeki's second-biggest fan... ]

[ Doumeki nods, proud of her! Walking might still be a bit difficult if she doesn't know how to step though, so he stays closeby, just in case. ]

[She might have managed to semi-decently stand, trying to remember exactly how it felt (did it feel natural? to this body anyway? she can’t tell-), but...]

[How could anyone... well, humans are born like this, of course they did, but, how could anyone not born like this ever think this narrow up and down configuration made sense...

But she still grits her teeth to try, arms still held out as she takes a few careful, awkward steps back towards Doumeki.]

I bet- I bet I can learn faster than a human baby, though! Three days max! Not a year!

[ Doumeki keeps his arms out, ready to catch her if needed. You won't faceplant on his watch, Konoha! Plus she's fully grown, so it should be easier for her to keep her balance... ]

For women, their center of gravity is in their hips. Once you are balanced there, it should help.

[She likes to think she doesn't need to be carried... look at her go, she's made it a few more steps even! But she tries to think about her hips, though at first that just makes them gyrate awkwardly like a bad dancer before she gets them back under control.]

If Doumeki carried me... I might actually be the right height again... !

[And that's a funny thought, admittedly.]

[ Doumeki nods. He knows judo thanks to his police training, so he's got some knowledge about balance and that kind of thing.

Balance is certainly one of those things you never notice once you get used to it. Poor Konoha is doing her best! ]

Do you want to try? I can place you on my shoulders.

[As a grown woman and a respectable(?!) wife, Konoha knows she shouldn't... But at the same time... she can't help but be curious, staring up at him. She'd seen it all the time at home, of course, people carrying their children on their backs or shoulders, and she'd been rather jealous as a filly, having long grown too heavy for her adopted father to carry while the human village children were still happily laughing along with their parents...

And so with only the briefest of hesitations... she snaps awkwardly back to a stand, holding up her arms shamelessly to assist in being picked up.]

[ Propriety is nbd when you're close friends! They're family! Doumeki thinks nothing of it. ]

[ Doumeki grabs her by the underarms, lifting her up with ease and turning her around before placing her up onto his shoulders, with her legs hanging down over his front. She's really very light, especially compared to how she is as a jinba. ]

[This... is... amazing! Even when Gonta lifted her, she could still tell it took effort. He might have a few hundred pounds on her, but with the distribution of muscle it was still hard to hold half a ton in his arms...

But Doumeki makes it look so easy! It must be the up and down human shapes... that and the whole... being a tight one fifty now. (Muscle, it's dense.)

Obediently, she remains as still as possible so as not to upset the process even if she wants to vibrate excitedly... which she starts to do once she's sat on his shoulders. For safety reasons... she wraps her arms around the top of his head, trying not to clench her thighs or topple backwards.]

W- Wow, I think this is even taller than I usually am... !?

[She is having. An amazing time.]

[ Doumeki has all that strength from all his dumb weightlifting, so Konoha really is no problem to lift. He just has to make sure he stays balanced, which is a little harder, but as long as she doesn't sway too much they should be fine. ]

Mm. You are taller than when I am exalted.

[ Just be careful... Don't fall... ]

[Is this how Gonta sees the world? Konoha is getting even more excited looking around, maybe accidentally wriggling a bit in a way that may make it hard for... him to balance...]

[She.. doesn't know where to go but! Somewhere! She's reliving the childhood memories of being carried that it had been impossible for her to have???]

[ Doumeki does his best to remain steady. He's got a tiny little waist, as you know, so it's a little bit of a wobble... But he stays upright. ]

Very well. Hold on.

[ He'll just go ahead and... walk around the house? At least they have tall ceilings. This is good exercise if nothing else. And Konoha is enjoying herself, so that's good. ]

Should I take you outside?

[fnekwlf is he wobbling? Is she wobbling? Konoha holds on just like he says, and to be honest... she's kind of glad Doumeki is gay for a hot second because wrapping her arms around the crown of his head accidentally slips into a lot of boob pressing and thigh squeezing as she struggles to balance, but-

O- Outside is good! Where there's really soft grass with no sharp things... !

[Because her bare feet are so sensitive? It's not like she didn't know humans had to wear shoes for a reason, she just didn't expect it to be this weird?]

[ Never fear, Konoha, the boobs do nothing for him. Doumeki remains firm, unaffected by the warmth and gentle moonlacing from her body. It's just the same energy they'd get from holding hands, so it's not a big deal if you ask him. ]

[As he walks, she tries to demonstrate, carefully stretching out her legs in front of him and trying to flex her feet. (Curiously, her left foot seems to have a spot of vitiligo-esque lack of pigment going on compared to her darker right foot, in echo of the white sock on her usual equine back leg.]

With hooves, you don't really feel anything but the impact... ? Does that make sense? Like, the frog in the middle is a little more soft, but... I didn't expect it to be this different...

It must feel strange.

[ He'd only been a jinba for a little bit in her dream, so he hadn't really had the time to think about such things. He nods along to her explanation, though. He doesn't know much about horses, but considering they put metal shoes on them, it must be difficult to feel much.

He takes a hold of one of her feet (the lighter one, which he remembers from her usual legs,) mostly since she hasn't felt very much, to help her experience it for herself. He's not going to tickle her... but he's tempted. Just a little bit. ] ]

Have you felt the grass? I can let you down, now that we are here.

[She's about to say that it does feel strange... but then he. Touches? her foot??? And he might not be actively trying to tickle her, but the sensation is so foreign that she can't help but kind of twitch her ankles, and the feeling of skin on skin contact there is...

Weird? It's weird, but like... she accidentally half-splutters and half-laughs in surprise. Quick, act normal!!!]

G- Grass could be fun? It looks soft!

[ Ah, it looks like his touch did tickle her. It's probably better that he sets her down, before she shakes too much and they both end up on the grass. So he's careful as he reaches up and lifts her off of his shoulders, setting her down in the soft grass. ]

There you are.

[ He nods. Though actually, that was a little more strenuous than he let off, so he might just go ahead and sit down... ]

It is pleasant in the morning, when you can feel the dew.

[She's airborne again... ! Obediently, Konoha tries to lock her joints and freeze so he can move her however is best, no matter how might ridiculous she might look and how right before he sets her down she suddenly pulls her knees up as if afraid to put her feet down in the grass after all, but-

She did it! She's standing in the grass- !

And... waddling all over the grass with another vaguely tickled laugh, straight out marveling at how weird (again!) it was.]

You can feel all the different blades of grass... I never imagined that!

[... Maybe not all of them, but.]

Doumeki, quick- Show me your feet!

[ He nods, nearly smiling as he watches her enjoy something he takes for granted. He'd never thought of what it would be like to never feel the grass beneath your feet... ]

It's a unique feeling.

[ He tilts his head at her question, though. She wants to see his feet...? Well, she did ask him to do something. And Doumeki always does as he's asked. ]

One moment.

[ He reaches over to untie his shoes and remove his socks, tucking them away safely. He definitely hasn't gone barefoot in a while. ]

What about them?

[ His feet are pretty big -- proportional for a guy his size, but still. Compared to Konoha, he's huge. ]
