Hello, fellow Moonblessed! This is the Principality Aziraphale and I have a few subjects I'd like to discuss with you, if you have the time to spare.

One is simply a request for good book recommendations, though I'm also curious if anyone has ever run into books here they were familiar with back home?

The other is particularly for those also blessed by the Iris moon... Have you had any trouble with shocking things? And people? My last phase resulted in my being quite affectionate but it's a bit of a hardship trying to cuddle when you keep accidentally shocking your partner.

[Oh right, he forgot these devices could do voice over network as well. Like a telephone, except not exactly. When he responds, it's with a voice that would read as English to anyone familiar with it, and as gay to anyone who relied heavily on stereotypes.]

Oh... well, it's a given role to an angel of Heaven. Just using it out of habit now, really, I suppose... Simply put, though, it means I'm a guardian of a place or of a group of people.

[And a charming voice it is, even if it leaves Zenyatta momentarily stunned at the theological implications of its explanation. An angel of Heaven. Well, that is something, isn't it?]

I see! How fascinating! Then there is in fact a Judeo-Christian God in your world?

Oh, yes, of course! She did create the universe, after all. Er, our universe. ...You'll have to forgive me, I'm still getting used to the idea of there being multiple universes, and quite possibly multiple gods.

[And just like that, the implication becomes explicit. There are caveats, of course, as Aziraphale so rightly points out, but that does not make the revelation any less ground-shakingly momentous. In at least one universe there is an all-powerful god of creation, who employs angels as guardians of humanity.

As are we all! I am sure your very existence has thoroughly uprooted some poor soul's faith already. [Not his, though. It'll take more than that to change his mind.]

Right. Well, of course, that certainly wasn't my intention. I don't normally go about... announcing what I am, not to humans, anyway. But considering where we are and that there are so many that are not humans, I thought it... might be alright?

...not to mention, I did rather have my wings on full display the other week while I was helping those who had been kidnapped, even healed quite a few. Seemed a bit silly to try to hide after that, to be honest.

Fear not! I would not suggest for a moment that you hide who you are for the sake of others' beliefs or lack thereof. But you truly have caught me off guard, my friend. I had never dreamed that I would meet an angel of all things, even here. You do have wings, then?

I do, yes. I don't have them out very often, particularly not indoors. They can be a bit of a hindrance at times, in size. But I'm capable of flying with them and it certainly does feel nice to be able to release them every now and again.
