Hello, fellow Moonblessed! This is the Principality Aziraphale and I have a few subjects I'd like to discuss with you, if you have the time to spare.

One is simply a request for good book recommendations, though I'm also curious if anyone has ever run into books here they were familiar with back home?

The other is particularly for those also blessed by the Iris moon... Have you had any trouble with shocking things? And people? My last phase resulted in my being quite affectionate but it's a bit of a hardship trying to cuddle when you keep accidentally shocking your partner.

[Okay, well that username immediately puts him in mind of what Crowley calls him. It's a bit confusing then to be speaking to someone else with that name, but it's not as if it's the first time that's ever happened, either. Plenty of people named Angel throughout Earth's history.]

An independent scholar, perhaps... Can I ask what inspired the inquiry?

My partner is Cordis as well! And I've heard about this monthly traveller but haven't gotten a chance to seek out his wares yet. That could be something worth looking into, from the sounds of it.

Oh! Well, aren't Principals heads of schools? I've never heard of such a title before.

Some of the items he has are useful. The others are a little more sexual in nature. It's not something I intend to purchase.

Oh, my dear. Not a principal. A Principality. It's a title that denotes an angel who guides and protects a group of people.

May I ask, does your username refer to your actual name? Or do you have a genuine interest in angels?

And that doesn't surprise me about the wares. There are many parts of this society that seem very much open about sexuality. I can see how it could come as a bit of a culture shock to some, though.

I know! It just sounds like it, that's why I asked. I know what it means now, though.

Are you an actual angel, then? They're fascinating! I'm not one - I'm human, but they always look so pretty in story books.

[ Not to mention, she gets called "Snow Angel" a lot because of how she looks, but she doesn't say that... ]

Indeed I am. And we are beings of love and light, so it's not unusual for my kind therefore to be represented with beauty.

Both, at times. I do usually keep them hidden, though. Back on Earth, the humans aren't actually aware that I'm an angel, you see. I disguise myself as human to live among them.

[So, having a fan because he's an angel is certainly new to him. But having another new friend sounds nice.]

Why would you do that?

[ That sounds... counterproductive to her. You're already an angel, though?? ]

Well, it has been my duty for the past 6000 years. I was told to blend in. On Earth. Since obviously we're not on Earth, and there are many non-human people here as well, it seemed silly to keep hiding the fact here.

So you're like an angel spy?

I'd never quite thought of it like that, but similar, I suppose. I try to influence humans towards Good, where I can.

[Or that's the job, at any rate. He really prefers to just do his own thing and help humans as they come along, rather than seek them out or... Or go wherever Heaven would try to send him. Not that he's actually much affiliated with Heaven anymore.]

Oh. I guess that's not so bad.
