Please forgive my curiosity, but I have heard about 'the season' and 'Halloween' a few times over the network, and since neither the time seems relevant to where I come from, nor the name familiar - would anyone care to explain what these two are about?

And yes, the season did sound that way, and yet there were at least to instances over the last days where people offered services for the coming season. So I was curious what celebrations exactly are coming.

i think some of them were offering help for costumes, since some people have a hard time deciding on stuff ٩(｡•ω•｡)و
but i guess sometimes adults who are having halloween parties use as it as an excuse to meet people for

which some of the people on here seemed to be angling for...

It depends on the company. Someone who matters isn't fond of crude language, so I avoid it for his sake, generally. No preference of my own.

Oh, quite a lot of difference. One casual word to someone unconcerned, another casual word to someone unconcerned, and then if suddenly there is someone concerned... in the wrong way, all those casual words get used against one.
