So. Guess you could say I have a question for you all.

Since the first of the month is coming up soon and i've heard these moons affect people a certain way, is there any advice that could be given for dealing with the effects that happen? I would quite appreciate it if any of you would be willing to share any details of your experiences so I know what to expect.

[ His smile falters a touch here, but nonetheless seems to remain in place as he let off a soft hum. Normally Karma wouldn't have asked so openly but maybe he was concerned about what was going to happen in a couple days and he did like being prepared.

Sure Cloud had told him a little but he needed a bit more to go off of. ]

Especially seeing as it would be my first time and it's likely to be unsettling in some form or another.

Just keep an eye out for anything unusual, pay attention to which moon is active then, and have a good idea what the common effects are.

Sometimes it's weird shit like turning your head 180 degrees around during Cordis like an owl.

Make sure you have clothing on hand that you could wear if you end up with extra limbs. You don't want to wind up stuck in your apartment because you can't fit any of your pants over a tail.

Also, if you wind up changing during Cordis, it's best to be be careful if you meet anyone in person. We can give off strong pheromones that make us seem especially attractive, and that sort of thing can lead to...

Is it common to always wind up with extra limbs or traits consistently? If so, are they always the same or are they different each time?

Well, the effects are going to depend on which moon you end up being affected by. And even then things aren't consistent. Some people get hit with it super hard, and others seem like they're barely affected.

I'm a Sanguis, so I tend to get a bit aggressive during my moon. Sometimes I also get a wolf tail and ears, but sometimes that doesn't happen. [She pauses, wondering if she should actually mention the next part before deciding she might as well. ]

Also sometimes the Sanguis moon puts me in the mood to bang. Not like with how it works for people who are Iris where they go into heat, but it is still something to prepared for.

Interesting. Here I thought it was that these changes were consistent, but it's good to know it tends to vary when it hits each time.

[ That last part does stop him short somewhat as that was the last thing he'd been expecting to hear. Mostly since he wasn't really all that acquainted with certain things of a particular nature, as it hadn't been a big thing for him back home. ]

The way I look at it, is any advice is better than nothing at all and I'd like to be prepared.

I suppose part of it could do with how well you can adapt to your surroundings. Some people here are bound to take it easier than others.

Just here to confirm that Iris makes you needy as hell.

Since you're my pal, I'll be completely honest with you. The Iris cycle makes you super horny. I guess it's not too bad if you just hole up in your room with porn, or something, but when you have to go out, weird stuff can happen. Last cycle I turned into an octopus.

Not sure yet. Haven't been around long enough to know which one I fall under yet.

I am influenced by the Cordis moon. I've grown cat ears and a tail, as well as fox ears and nine tails, and twice I grew butterfly wings and shrank down to only a few inches tall. But other times there have been no outward changes.

I usually get very hungry when Cordis is in the sky. And apparently I gain a sort of

pleasant aroma?

that tends to make others more favorably disposed toward me.

Sanguis can make you feel on edge and give you murderous urges.

[Speaking from... personal experience.]

Guess it's not as bad as the other two if you're not too keen on getting overly clingy with others. And you can use it as an excuse to go rough, if you're into that.
