I need something to occupy me that doesn't require me having control of my body.
Split personality. There's less we have to fight here, so I take control less than I used to, and I'm bored.
I'd take offers to spar but you'd have to run it by the other half first.

What happened to your other half, then?

[ unless shu is here, but even then tsumugi wouldn't pin his oddness down like that. as far as he knows he's just a really good ventriloquist. ]

Well... Why not read books in the meantime? Do more research on fighting techniques, perhaps? I have no experience in physical combat whatever, I'm sorry

He reads plenty, and I don't hate reading what he reads. But it's not something I can do unless he decides to.

[ a tiniest attempt at being cheeky. ]
Maybe you should take up another hobby, in that case! Something that you or he hasn't tried before?

likewise anonymous. even better, as far as he's concerned! the subject is... strange... and he's not sure what the hell a split personality that shares a body is even supposed to do, are both always aware? what kind of a headache that has to be! ]
Logic puzzles. Meditation. Strategy board games. If you're both aware at the same time, tell the one controlling your body what move you want, and they can mark it. Play an app version on your communication device and you can consider moves against other players before asking for the other personality to mark your move.

[ Just how interaction starved is each side of this anon's personalities? That's a whole nice fucked up issue he's not really sure what one does anything with. It's not like they're two souls in the same body... they're aspects of one individual's... brain? How do split personalities work compared to someone just being plain ol' two faced? ]

Taking turns on puzzles is an option.

So, puzzles. Or very slow chess games. Puzzles, puzzles... jigsaw ones? 3D ones? Logic ones? Gives a whole range of 'things' to work with, if you don't mind taking turns. Ask him to read logic puzzles while he's awake and you can have more than one to think about until you're active. All the others can be combined efforts, I guess.
You could also do something crazy like think up scavenger hunts to send him on when he's in control. Then you're along for the ride watching him try to figure it out, if it's the kind of thing he'd do.

Logic puzzles might be best.

I wouldn't mind. I need to practice more myself anyway, and if you use that sword of yours you shouldn't need to hold back much.
[Atsushi??? You're a noodle???]

I'm in our apartment. He already gave you the number.
[Just assuming that happened at some point.]

I should probably put on something old anyway.
