I *guess* this is a computer. It's strangely shaped, is glowing so much I can't see any of the parts inside of it, and even with how long I've been here... is kind of worrying-looking.

It seems not many of you come from worlds with computer technology, not like this -- but for those who do, what was it like? I wonder if there's someone from a world *more* advanced than this one.

So, about this Amphoria thing.

On Earth, the first device that could be considered a form of modern "virtual reality" was dubbed the "Sensorama," created by Morton Heilig in 1962. The last time I was on Earth was around 1998. We had nothing near as immersive as what exists on this world.

I'm very curious to know if your worlds had anything remotely similar to this. Technology or magic. A magical implementation of such is easier to envision than a technological one, but it's difficult to tell the difference past a point, is it not?

[Patchouli is sitting at a desk recording herself. She's still in pajamas, and only like one light is on. Her place is still kind of disorganized but she is trying dammit]

I meant to ask this a couple weeks back, but I've been very busy. [Cleaning, dealing with that thing in Obscuria where she was relegated to a background character just like in canon... and decidedly not doing a good job of either, judging by the state of her room or my failure to post last month.]

So, recently, I've been made aware of a class of beings called "Servants." No, no, I don't just mean that in the literal sense of the word of anyone who serves, my current information suggests they are all spirits of historical or mythical figures, empowered in... ways I only have so many details about.

To get to the point, I'm curious about any information any of you have about any of them. Especially if you are one of them and want to tell me about yourself.

That dragon transformation ended up being much more irritating than most phases have been.

How many others were transformed into dragon-like forms during their moon phases? This counts anyone currently dealing with such transformations. I'd like to know about your experiences and what, exactly, your transformations entailed. I'm trying to compile notes on our transformations, so this would be extremely useful.

Though... I kind of hope this is a one-off case still.

The video flicked on showing the face of a young woman with blue eyes in a maid outfit a little bit too close to the camera. She blinked several times and glanced back over her shoulder once and then back to the camera.

“My Lady. I believe it is working.” And she backed off a little bit, holding it up to reveal the two new faces.

The lady in question turns out to be a rather petite woman with short blue hair and red eyes. The leathery bat-like wings on her back mark her as decidedly not human. The fangs that are visible when she opens her mouth to speak give a large hint as to what manner of being she may be. “I must say, I am rather impressed. To summon me to this world against my will is praiseworthy. I cannot say I know of anyone capable of doing so. I must thank whatever force did so for the kindness of bringing along my Sakuya, as well. She would be ever so lonely without me.” And Remilia herself might have found life more difficult, but that remains unsaid.

The maid in question shifted a little bit as she was addressed, bowing her head in acknowledgement. She didn’t speak though, not wanting to interrupt Remilia’s speech.

“But perhaps I should introduce myself properly. I am the Lady Remilia Scarlet, and while the finery I normally surround myself with did not have the courtesy to make the trip with me, I have little doubt I shall be able to replace it in time with whatever passes as such in this world. Even without the trappings of my mansion, however, I am still a lady and will be treated as such. If you lack the manners to do so, do not waste my time. I do not enjoy having my time wasted.” She gestures behind her. “This is my personal maid, Sakuya Izayoi. An insult against her is one against me, and I do not tolerate insults. Sakuya, introduce yourself.”

Sakuya gave another small bow. “Greetings. My name is Sakuya Izayoi, head maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion bound in service to the great vampire Remilia Scarlet. I will be serving her to the best of my ability while we are here. As such any information that can be provided will be of great use to us both.”

[ The video opens up to a brunette who seems to only be mildly struggling with operating the device. And in essence, that was only dealing with the weirdness of the lack of tactile buttons and figuring out what option exists where. ]

[ There's the slightest hesitation to her smile, but she presses on anyway. The astute might notice that she's holding a small baton with a crescent moon shape on one end. ]

But more importantly! I'm wondering if there are any Moonblessed out there that work in the hospitals or medical areas around here? Do you guys use just regular stuff? Is it advanced science you haven't seen before, or are used to? What about supernatural abilities? I'm interested in helping out with that, if I can!

[ She took a more impish look as she leaned in. ]

By the way, what's everyone's favorite way of getting chroma? C'mon, you can tell me! Getting it through Demichroma doesn't count!

Well, before, it was just black and several noises, one of which sounded like a different application opening entirely and some sounds of hushed frustration because you know what, technology can't love all of us, it is a fickle mistress, etc. But it's okay!! Because the aforementioned young lady is here now and looking so serious that she can't have possibly been frazzled six seconds ago!

Hello. My name is Fiore Forvedge Yggdmillennia, and I have a request for those liste-- ah, watching. I've been here a few weeks, and...

[ A pause. The camera slowly tilts to reveal that Fiore's actually sitting in a wheelchair, and there's a certain tightness to her features for those observant enough. As though she's in pain, but happily determined to ignore it and carry on. ]

To phrase it simply, I believe I'll be requiring quite a bit of Chroma for certain purposes, and as such, I'd like to ask if anyone would be willing to... earn it with me. Hand-holding, specifically, as anything beyond that will be entirely determined by the content of your character and only after a lengthy discussion.

[ Okay, so she might not have dealt with hugs or kisses yet, either. Please help her. ]

I understand that this may seem like a lot to ask from someone most of you don't know, but if you'd be willing to discuss this further with me, I'm sure I can find something to offer in return.

A shorter-term question is bothering me this time, and it's one that may affect others.

As far as I can compare the local calendar to the one I'm familiar with at home, my birthday is coming up soon. On the other hand, when I arrived here, I was expecting my birthday to be a good five months off.

Should I mark it now, or wait another three months? I can't decide which would be easier to remember. How are others grappling with it?

There is something I want to do, but I'm lacking a bit in ideas. I want to celebrate someone's birthday, but, what is normal for doing that?

I know giving someone something they like on such days can generate maximum affection points, but, this may be different.
