Have you ever given yourself a new name?
Or maybe a nickname?
How did you choose it?
Does it have any meaning for you?

Mettaton, then. It certainly does roll off the tongue very well, darling! ;)You can call me Fish. Very on the nose if you see me, but I think that's what makes me memorable to most.
But "Fish" won't cut it on the entrance to a club! I'm thinking about getting a new stage name that'll evoke the kind of enthralling, glamorous performances people can expect of me.

Aaaaanyway!]
Ooooooooooh, a monster after my own red-hot HEART, I see!!! โกโกโก
[YEAH, he -- kind of just. Defaults to "monster" with those who aren't human, alas. No offense meant.]
I can only APPLAUD an individual with the stars and their eyes and a strut in their step looking to make it to the BIG TIME, darling!!!
A PLEASURE to make your FABULOUS acquaintance, my good, good Fish!!! โโโ
Now! Why don't you lean in and whisper in my ear, from one showmonster to another:
what, dearest -- what kind of enthralling, glamorous performances DO people expect from you...?
[With a li'l narrow in his eyes - ha... ooh-hoo-hoo, is he going to have a bit of competition...?
In. Good old sport, anyway, because perish the thought anyone could rival Mettaton, surely.]

A pleasure to meet you as well, Mettaton darling ;)
I definitely hope to meet you face to face sometime.
As for what kind of performance people can expect of me... well, I consider myself a dancer and acrobat first and foremost. A singer second. But I also play instruments. But what really makes me stand out, I believe, is my ability to deliver a whole fantasy with costume, make-up, and magic.
