There's been one or two clients I've had to recommend soaps to.
I just think of it as "even sweaty people can be lonely."

I'm used to getting recommendations through word of mouth or through a handler. They usually talk me up more. It's easy for them to do but hard to do yourself...

There's a place with some dishes close to what we had where I'm from. It's not entirely authentic, but it's upscale enough for a date and casual enough that no one will judge you for ordering seconds. I'll pay, don't worry. I have some savings left.

There's good news and bad news: those checks aren't needed here because they aren't worth anything. So, it's not bad to have forgotten them... but we all start from zero.

The currency here is Chroma. Chroma is generated when Moonblessed (that's how they've referred to us from other worlds) interact. So, for example, cuddling. Holding hands works, too. As do more intimate gestures.
