ye xiu has dealt with personalities like this one, but man. it's pretty hard to keep a straight face when america keeps talking like that. thank god his feet are back on the floor though. he's reached his quota of getting picked up. ]

[ ye xiu has always been pretty easygoing, so if america wants hug-s (plural), then he's more than willing to give that. he already has his comm device out and ready, with the prismaps app pulled up. ]

_{[ America turns on his heel, whistling playfully as he goes by, heading towards the kitchenette. He doesn't get out a kettle. Instead, he opens his fridge and pulls out.. a pitcher, of iced, sweet, sweet tea.. completely southern style. He pours his guest a glass and brings it over, beaming cheerfully. It's nice to have company. ]}

Just like mama used to make it, hahahahaha!
_{[ Shut up, America. You didn't have a mom. So yeah. It's pretty obvious he doesn't listen much. He takes a seat, letting their shoulders mesh together on the sofa. ]}

[ the fact that america neither sets up the kettle nor tells him this isn't the tea he wanted doesn't really bother ye xiu. he's the guest here, after all, he'll take whatever is offered to him without complaint - even if the drink turns out to be way too sweet for his tastes.

But this is the app. [ a few purposeful taps of his thumbs, and they're now looking at a map of their surrounding area. ] It's their version of Google Maps. Nothing special about it.

[ this should be pretty basic stuff, but he doesn't seem to mind going through the app's capabilities as if america's new to it. (he probably is; ye xiu won't judge.) ]

_{[ His guest leans in, so he leans into him too. Completely innocent. Completely bro-like. Never mind the fact he's got the app figured out already. His guest is modest and reserved from what he can tell, and it's in a certain way that reminds him of a certain someone back home. ]}

[ ye xiu has coached many rookies from the bottom up. it's one of his many responsibilities as a captain, one that he actively enjoys. he's always found it fun when someone wants to learn something badly enough that they seek out his advice, and he's never really been the type to turn someone down. as long as they're eager to learn and willing to listen, his patience is endless. a bottomless well.

the situation right now is no different from that. sure, it's a relatively simple app, but america is all too ready to play the part of a clueless student so who is ye xiu to deny him what he wants? ]

Okay. [ he closes the app, then. ] First, you want to make sure you're holding your device properly. You don't want to drop it on the floor or who knows if they'll even replace it if it breaks. You navigate your way to the app - it's called Prismaps, by the way - and you press the button.

[ is he really going through the steps from the very beginning? absolutely. that's what america asked for, and that's exactly what he's going to give him.

(at this point, their shoulders are touching now. it's still very no homo. ]

Somewhere in the middle of it, he seems to zone out and not listen, and that leads to him interrupting his guest for just a minute. ]}

[ the no-homo touching continues like this, because ye xiu doesn't pull back even when america stops him. he tilts his head, raises an eyebrow, looking the part of a curious guy. ]
