So, I turned 17 today. I completely forgot that was going to happen. In my defense though, my birthday is usually in March and it's only now because it was September instead of May when I arrived in the last world that pulled people in that didn't live there.

... Anyway, for something those of you who haven't known me since before I showed up here might be interested in, does anyone want martial arts lessons? I was training a couple of people back in the last world I was in and it went pretty well there, so I figured I should probably start that up again.

For now compensation is negotiable, since I don't know how many people would even be interested in this in the first place and money here is... weird. Days of the week, time, and how often the lessons happen are going to depend on just how many are interested, but I'll let people know sooner rather than later.

And no, no real plans. Kinda hard to have those when you forget which day it is because it's months later than it should be. If I didn't have that last place's phone with me, I probably wouldn't have realized that I should've had a birthday until next March.

Anyway, that makes sense, but we can figure out something for you spur-of-the-moment, I think. Have you been to the arcade yet?

Okay, I guess that's fair. I mean, most of the stuff that we've been doing even discounting everything after we left home is pretty much stuff you'd expect adults to be dealing with anyway.

And no, haven't been to the arcade. I'm not sure if I really want to go to that though; I'm not exactly that into video games.

Sounds great. Though for you it's probably not going to be lessons so much as it's just going to be the two of us sparring together. I mean, you already seem to be pretty good at hand to hand, even if it's not you're main fighting style.

Honestly, ever since we fought in that tournament I've been itching to fight against you again. I'm curious to see how it goes when the two of us don't have anything that's limiting us, you know?

As for the lessons, it's probably going to take a while to get that all set up, so we might actually get our spar in sooner than that. It really depends on how big of a draw they get.

Pretty much. I mean, I always had big parties for my birthday, but that was mostly my Dad doing it despite the fact that I kept telling him I only wanted a few people over and didn't want it to be a big stupid public event.
