I'm really not an expert on meditation but I know of a good way to get rid of extra energy and calm your mind.

There are breathing and mental exercises I can tell you about that I've recommended to some of my patients in the past, if you're interested?

Or even just talking about the source of your anger can sometimes help, whether that be purely due to the release from venting about them, or having a second opinion that can help you figure out why it's causing that anger to begin with. I know that Sanguis can be rough in particular with one's temper rising and falling at seemingly random moments, but it's still worth considering as well, I think.

Controlled breathing exercises help me. Focus on breathing in and out slowly, it usually helps me at least keep my temper under control.

Accept that you have those feelings.
That is the best advice one can give to any strong emotion such as anger, or fear.
Once they have been accepted, it is easier to identify the things that make them come.

I was teaching yoga for a couple months here and it really only works if you meditate the entire time, which is totally pointless. You can't meditate for a week every month, and if you take a class you end up with stupid Becky people who won't shut the hell up anyway even though they're in a class about mindfulness.
