i’ve never had the time before to think on something like this
I’d always liked taking pretty girls out to dinner
letting them have a fun time and simply enjoying their company for an evening
but never thought too deeply on a type
since it didn’t seem like an option
although once before I’d been able to experience love with someone who was warm yet firm he was gentle yet awkward about showing it until it was truly necessary

I enjoy the company of others a great deal

I suppose I could play this game.

1) My youth has long since slipped away to the void of time, and I'm more than a little concerned about the number of people here the same age as my daughters. Someone around thirty or so sounds ideal at a minimum, but I suppose I could go just a bit younger and into their late twenties if they're sound enough of mind.

2) I don't ask for a genius, but I do expect some manner of cleverness or creative spark. Or at least be curious, open-minded, and fun to hold a conversation with.

3) I am open to more morally flexible men and women if all one wants is a warm bed for one night, but you'll have to prove to me that you have some standards if you want anything to last. Also, know that my heart belongs in the clutches of a literal dragon who, if she was here, would breathe lightning into your very soul if you tried to disrespect me. You would not be my only lover, but I feel that this is important to disclose up front.

4) Not too much bulk. Both men and women with more lean builds are welcome if they're the athletic sort, but the sort of person who wrestles bears for a living need not bother. Otherwise, I think more slender body types are great for those whose talents are more cerebral.

5) Have some accomplishments in your life, something you can truly be proud of. I've had an archmage, two poets, and a knight of the royal guard at my side. As long as I see that there's something in your life you've been striving toward, I'm interested.

6) Knows what water and soap are, and how and when to use them.

7) Hands that were sculpted by the gods themselves, damn it.

To your first point, you may be comforted to know that quite a few of us are decades or centuries older than we appear. I have been told I appear anywhere from twenty to thirty, depending upon how I dress, style my hair, or how much sleep I’ve gotten on a given night, but I am quite a bit older than that.

That is such a difficult question! I love everyone with no distinction because I was born with the purpose to love and treasure my people.

If I really must have a type, however...

I would say I am very attracted by strong, brave, and kind people with a noble heart. They could be a hero, a knight, or even just a simple person with solid values willing to protect others. I also get even more smitten if they blush easily and are some bit of submissive if they're teased. A good sense of humour also goes a long way for me!

When I think of the type of person I like, I think one of the important traits I look for is someone who is kind. I like people who could help others and make them happy, not necessarily myself but other people in general. Patience is also important because sometimes I have a hard time keeping up with others and feel like I spend more time thinking about something than I should.

I think in general this is very difficult to pin down completely though, because I honestly get really nervous around others—but am trying really hard to get past that because I want to be able to be someone people can rely on.

I don't mind saying it, so I'll play along.

I suppose the ideal would be someone who wouldn't mind curling up quietly with a good book with me, or at least won't hassle me while I read. They don't have to like the same things I do but I won't put up with anyone who'd give me a hard time about my hobbies.

Although I guess it's okay if they're kind of bossy sometimes, as long as there's some give and take between us and all that. If I had to put it in terms of tropes, I'd say I'm not against the himedere or tsundere type. I mean, if they're someone who's usually in charge or tough or independent or things like that, wouldn't it be really cute if they got a little clingy sometimes?

It'd be good if they're smart, too. Someone I can joke around with isn't so bad either.

Physically it doesn't really matter if they're a guy or a girl, as long as they're cute. It's nice if they're athletic but it's not a dealbreaker or anything. Shorter than me's a plus.

The only other thing I can think of is that it'd be great if they're the type that blushes and gets really flustered when you tease them. That would definitely be pretty high-level.

It's not necessarily a "type", but these are traits the people I care most about have:

1) They always seem to find me. Even through the darkest times, when things are difficult and frightening, they manage to put me at ease. In a more literal sense, they're able to bring me back to who I should be. I'm very thankful that they're willing to go through all this trouble for me.

2) A good listener. Listening is something I personally still need to work on, but I do like that I've found people who listen to me. I can tell them just about anything, whether it's a positive story or a bad one. I'm completely comfortable being around them, and I'd like for them to be comfortable around me, too.

3) Someone who takes care of me. I suppose, growing up, I've had a lot of people to take care of me, along with my mother, but since she passed away, there hasn't been anybody in my life who actually puts love in what they do whenever they do things for me. Being cooked for with my taste and happiness in their thoughts while they prepare everything is very touching. I do appreciate it a lot, and I look forward to the next meal. I could provide more specific examples, but... for public eyes, I hope this will do.

4) Has cute hair. I don't think both of them fit this particular characteristic, though, but one most certainly does. The colour of her hair is unique on its own, but she wears her hair a little differently from others, where one part is longer than the other. I do think that's very cute. Compared to the others that I've listed, this is the only physical trait.

I think this is getting too long, so I'll cut it short and end with one last trait:

5) They're always there for me. I would like to talk at length about this, but I don't think that's needed. Doesn't everyone want to have a partner (or partners) who are always there for them? There may have been times when I've turned my back on them, but they never left. They still cared and they never hated me for what I've done. I think I still need to do penance, but when I think about it, having somebody dedicated to me is rather attractive.

Am I being selfish in admitting that? Of course, I've said all these things about the people I love... I'd like to think that I have some attractive qualities, too. I'm certain I check a lot of boxes in other people's types.

I love both Emerald and Mayuzumi-san with all my heart. I'm not looking for anybody else, so you needn't respond with people who you think would be compatible with me. I wouldn't be averse to making new friends, though. I just thought I would share my thoughts. 😊
