What's the deal with tomatoes. They're just messy fruit full of water.

I was under the impression they were a common food for humans. Was I mistaken?

Oh my god, finally!

Tomatoes are a feast for the eyes, not a feast for the taste buds. They're pretty to look at, but that's all they are.

Use them properly. Put them in sauces and don't devour them whole like an animal.

They are a very versatile type of produce
People use it for all kinds of meals and drinks as well
They are a great ingredient

... Taste wise, they're good when used in sauces, salads, or soups. Can't say I'm a fan of eating them right off the vine, so to speak, if that's what you're referring to about them.

Personally I like tomatoes. You can try preparing something with them, but if you still don't like them this way I think it's okay. Everybody has something they don't like eating.

Believe it or not, your observation is actually rather apt — the word "tomato" comes from the original "tomātl", which roughly works out to mean "fat water".

if you get the really small ones and pop em in your mouth its a flavor explosion

i kinda don't like the really big ones tho
